netstat -lptu
gives me
tcp6 0 0 [::]:16514 [::]:* LISTEN

so the server is correctly listening on interfaces.
My /etc/libvirt/libvirtd settings are defaulted.
My /etc/default/libvirt-bin has "-d -l" options so server is listening.
If I do virsh -c qemu://143.225.229.190/system (that is my ip or an ip

Re: HA: Accessing iSCSI disc images from the RHEV Manager using libguestfs
Unfortunately, placing the link into the /boot does not work. libguestfs-test-tool failes with the same message:

SCSI not settling???
I'm getting a lot of this at boottime:
udev still not settled. Waiting.
udevadm settle - timeout of 0 seconds reached, the event queue contains:
/sys/module/scsi_wait_scan (11707)

[PATCH v2 0/4] daemon: Translate device names if Linux device is unstable (RHBZ#1804207).
v1 was here:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2020-February/msg00220.html
This patch series is a little bit better. It's still a bit of a hack.
The _real_ fix for this is outlined in the TODO file (see patch 1) but
that requires a lot more work than we could do before 1.42 is
released, unless we delay 1.42 for a lot longer. I'm hoping with this
to have something which works

[PATCH node] split root filesystems out of HostVG and onto their own partitions
This lays the groundwork for setting Root and RootBackup onto individual partitions for multiple disk installations in the future.
Install, removal, upgrade testing has been performed and all seems to work at this point.

[PATCH 0/6] tests: Fix handling of device API parameters (RHBZ#1477623).
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1477623
The first two patches are cleanups.
The third patch changes the way that we handle Device and Dev_or_Path
parameters so that a parameter marked as such can really only contain
a block device name (and not, for instance, a chardev). Using a
chardev here caused hangs in the API.
The next two patches fix API usage to conform to this new stricter

[PATCH] daemon: use str_udevadm in udev_settle
There is GUESTFSD_EXT_CMD defining a string for udevadm (so it is marked
as "used tool" in the appliance), but it is not actually used when
starting udevadm.
There should be no behaviour change.
