[PATCH] Fix dependencies on generator.ml
This change adds an explicit dependency on generator.ml for every file it
generates, except java files. Java is left for another time because it's
considerably trickier.
This fixes parallel make, and will automatically re-create generated files when
make is run from any directory.
It also fixes the problem which efad4f53 was targetting. Specifically,
src/guestfs_protocol.(c|h) had an

[PATCH v2 1/7] lib: Share common protocol and errnostring libraries with the library and daemon.
This commit, which is just code motion, moves the common XDR protocol
code (libprotocol) and the common errno handling (liberrnostring) into
libraries which are each built once and shared between the library and
daemon.

[PATCH nbdkit 4/4] common/protocol: Install <nbd-protocol.h> as a public header.
Some further small changes are made to allow this header to be used
from arbitrary ISO C compilers.
It can now be used from other projects.

[PATCH libguestfs 1/2] build: Allow C programs using libguestfs to be compiled against build dir.
We use a similar trick to libvirt to allow external C programs that
use libguestfs to be compiled against the built (but not installed)
libguestfs with:
../libguestfs/run ./configure
make
What actually happens is we have a second pkg-config file
(lib/local/libguestfs.pc) which points to the locally built
libguestfs. The ./run script sets up PKG_CONFIG_PATH to point to this
directory.

Fix various build dependency problems
Patch 1/5 is a repost. Only change is title update.
These fix parallel make on my machine, and additionally make building from
subdirectories more correct.

Fix parallel make (v3)
This new series condenses all of the previously posted patches into new patch
1/2.
The second patch is a new fix for parallel build in the haskell directory.

[libnbd PATCH] maint: Use $(NULL) for all Makefile.am macro lists
This borrows from a trick in libvirt - by defining $(NULL) to expand
to an empty string, we can more consistently write multi-line macros
where all useful lines terminate with \, making it easier to
add/remove lines without worrying about whether \ needs to be touched
up on neighboring lines.

Looks big, but is fairly mechanical. I'm also doing a similar patch

Fwd: Re: [PATCH] Add missing dependencies for targets of generator.ml
[Didn't CC this correctly ...]
As discussed on IRC I've reverted that original commit. See:
http://git.annexia.org/?p=libguestfs.git;a=commitdiff;h=44097b509c8fa665f8391e393025599a026cddac
This is now working OK for me, but please test it.
Rich.

[PATCH nbdkit 2/4] common/protocol: Remove protostrings.sed, use bash+sed instead.
Use a simple bash script to generate the protostrings.c functions.
Remove the extern decls from the nbd-protocol.h file which were used
previously in the generation of this file. They have been moved to a
new internal header called "protostrings.h".

Implementation of editheaders in dovecot
Hello.
I wrote the hook function for deliver. I want to add support of
editheaders in the plug-in for dovecot. For this purpose I wrote the
function rarules_get_stream. Remover of headrs works properly, but
adding does not work. I took Timo Sirainen's advice from http://markmail.org/message/skb6arnll5gaopdr
. Do I use a correct way of creation of a message?
I give backtrace and a

[nbdkit PATCH] eval: Rebuild hard link if git breaks it
Commit 39b40750dd works if you use 'make clean', but not if you rely
on incremental builds. Git likes to update files by creating new
inodes, which strands hard links. We could either use symlinks, or as
done here, add a dependency to force the hard links to be rebuilt as
needed.

[LLVMdev] Multiple directories in a single library
Hi all,
I've previously posted this patch on llvm-commits, but due to a lack of
replies, and the fact that this patch is more something to discuss than
something to apply, I'm posting this again here.
While working on my own backend, I found that things got really messy real
quickly, partly caused by the fact that all .cpp files must be in the same
directory (lib/Target/TargetName).

[LLVMdev] UPDATE: Makefile.rules Changes (IMPORTANT)
If you're on the new Makefile system, you will want to update your
Makefile.rules. The patch below provides some important fixes for
parallel builds and dependencies. It also adds some new features like
the -local targets. For example, you can now build "all-local" to build
the local directory without recursing into subdirectories.
See the comments below for details of the change.
