[hivex][PATCH v2] OS X, bootstrap: Locate pkg.m4
OS X does not include pkg-config by default. This causes ./configure to fail when invoking PKG_CHECK_MODULES for libxml2. This change autodetects the path for aclocal, c/o RWMJ noting the real problem is a deficiency in aclocal on OS X. [hivex][PATCH] OS X, bootstrap: Locate pkg.m4
OS X does not include pkg-config by default. When installed, pkg.m4 tends to end up in some place that is not the autotool-expected /usr/share/aclocal/. Add to bootstrap a path check so pkg.m4 can be found, so ./configure does not fail invoking PKG_CHECK_MODULES. Is every intrinsic norecurse?
Hi folks, I've been measuring some devirtualization statistics and I found that when barriers are introduced, the number of functions marked as norecurse is lower. The llvm.group.barrier is obviously norecursive and I've been thinking: is every intrinsic norecurse? I think it make sense to mark all of the intrinsics that can be considered as norecursive this way, so it won't gonna

[PATCH] internationalisation: Replace autopoint infrastructure with libintl-perl
I noticed that virt-v2v, which is written exclusively in perl, failed to generate virt-v2v.pot. After much head scratching I also noticed that libguestfs.pot didn't include any messages from perl sources. Some reading of libintl-perl shows that a somewhat more complicated xgettext command line is required, as it doesn't understand Locale::TextDomain syntax by default. After a little more

[hivex] OS X: Augment pkg-config search path
Hello all, I found OS X still has one remaining issue in the autotools. OS X does not include pkg-config by default, and whatever mechanism installs it places pkg.m4 in some location among: /opt/local/share/aclocal/pkg.m4 /usr/local/share/aclocal/pkg.m4 PKG_CHECK_MODULES isn't defined if pkg.m4 isn't in /usr/share/aclocal, so ./configure dies without augmenting aclocal's search

CentOS Install From Scratch on XFS File System
I'm thinking about switching to CentOS 4.4 x86_64 from another RH based version. However, I need to install it from scratch and I need EVERYTHING (including /boot & /) on XFS file systems. Does the default installer allow this? If not, how difficult would it be to make the necessary changes. I've done a lot of Google searching and searching of the CentOS site, but haven't found

XCP: Is there any detailed guidance to create a template from scratch?
Hi, all    I tried to search the web and can only find a little without details. I think maybe a lot of people here think it''s a piece of cake to create VM or template from scratch. But for newbie like me, it''s not that easy. If there is no suitable template in the XCP platform, it''s quite difficult for me to create VM as I wish.    I wonder if there is anything helpful

Unable to use Photoshop CS scratch disk on tmpfs
I am running Photoshop CS under Wine (was 1.1.44, is now 1.3.0) and am unable to use a tmpfs mount as a scratch drive. Using winecfg I have mapped /tmp (the tmpfs mount) to a drive letter. It shows up in some dialogs such as Open or Save but not under the scratch drive setting in Preferences. When it is listed in, say, the Open dialog, the icon is different than the other drive letters (such as

How to rebuild database from scratch without preventing searches
I have a process which wants to recreate a database nightly (it takes ~10 minutes, and is much faster than trying to figure out what to remove and add from the existing contents). However, opening the database with the flag DB_CREATE_OR_OVERWRITE destroys the existing database and prevents searches from taking place until the rebuild process is finished. We'd like to rebuild the database

RE: Building from scratch would like the benefit of (TOO LONG...)
I use Cisco 7940's and 7960's over here, loaded with SIP, and they do very nicely. Also, the SCCP channel for * is under heavy development, and may offer a future option to convert in that direction, too (SCCP, or skinny, is their native tongue, not SIP). We got our phones from John Putnam at Global Technology Solutions - competitive price, very prompt service, and delivered them with the
