tinc-1.0pre8 fails to compile on RH 9.0
Hi,
I had posted a similar question a few days back(but my mails started
bouncing back, when I tried to post to the newsgroup). So here is it
again.
My System: Rh 9.0 (2.4.20-13.9), openssl-0.9.7a-5, openssl-devel-0.9.7a-5
Autoconf tools: autoconf-2.57-3, automake-1.6.3-5
1. When I try to compile tinc-1.0 pre8 on my RH 9.0 system, it fails..
When I do a ./configure, it aborts saying:

OpenBSD 3.2 and Release 1
I got the file that was sent to me the other day.
Unfortunitly it did not solve
my problems.
After a lot of hacking I have been able to get release
1.0 to almost compile. I
have finally gotten all of the dependancies worked out
under OpenBSD 3.2.
This next error has me stumped. I can tell that it is
looking for a file but
have no idea how to create the file. This is the

where is glib-devl x86-64?
that's what I thought at first, but there is no gimp-devel either
installed, or available.

[PATCH v2 1/2] daemon: Reimplement statvfs API in OCaml.
common/mlutils: Unix_utils.StatVFS.statvfs: This commit implements a
full-featured binding for the statvfs(3) function.
We then use this to reimplement the daemon statvfs API in OCaml.
Note that the Gnulib fallback is fixed in this commit. It previously
referenced non-existent field names in the fs_usage struct.

R uses the C 'int' type for its integer data and that is pretty much
universally 32 bit these days. In fact R wont' compile if it is not.
That means the range for integer data is the integers in [-2^31,
+2^31).
It would be good to allow for a larger integer range for R integer
objects, and several of us are thinking about how me might get there.
But it isn't easy to get right, so

[PATCH 3/5] threads: Use thread-local storage for errors.
We permit the following constructs in libguestfs code:
if (guestfs_some_call (g) == -1) {
fprintf (stderr, "failed: error is %s\n", guestfs_last_error (g));
}
and:
guestfs_push_error_handler (g, NULL, NULL);
guestfs_some_call (g);
guestfs_pop_error_handler (g);
Neither of these would be safe if we allowed the handle to be used
from threads concurrently, since the error

Thanks to Luke and Avi for their comments.? I wrapped "round" around the
call to "rnorm" inside my "rpois.".? For "lambda" really big, that
"round" won't do anything.? However, it appears to give integers in
floating point representation that are larger than
.Machine$integer.max.? That sounds very much like what someone would
want.?

Thanks for testing the release. Overall the test results look decent
with a couple exceptions.
You also have a few CBE failures that I am not seeing. What version
of xcode do you have installed?
Can you send me the following files?
SingleSource/Regression/C/Output/2008-01-07-LongDouble.*
SingleSource/Regression/C/Output/PR1386.*
Thanks,

Difficulties in add cover art to FLAC file
Hi all, recently I tried to add cover art to flac files and have dfficulties
in doing so.
FLAC__Metadata_Chain *chain = FLAC__metadata_chain_new();
if(0 == chain)
return;
if(!FLAC__metadata_chain_read(chain, filename))
return;
FLAC__StreamMetadata *picture =
FLAC__metadata_object_new(FLAC__METADATA_TYPE_PICTURE);
FLAC__Metadata_Iterator *iterator = FLAC__metadata_iterator_new();

rpois(9, 1e10)
On my Mac:
str(.Machine)
...
$ integer.max????????? : int 2147483647
?$ sizeof.long????????? : int 8
?$ sizeof.longlong????? : int 8
?$ sizeof.longdouble??? : int 16
?$ sizeof.pointer?????? : int 8
????? On a Windows 10 machine I have, $ sizeof.long : int 4; otherwise
the same as on my Mac.
????? Am I correct that $ sizeof.long = 4 means 4 bytes = 32 bits?
