the Wine multimedia modules.
Will use the hard-coded setup, but this will disapear soon.

Cleaning up a WINE install.
I was installing a game, and I made the mistake of agreeing to install
DirectX. I'm guessing this can screw up your WINE. Is there any way to
clean up my WINE after doing something like that without having to
reinstall all my software?

llvm-build or llvm-driver are both kinda long but at least they make
sense...
As an aside, llava and llama are both taken, llvmize? llvminator?

Problems installing wine
Hello,
I have a Macbook and I installed Wine about two months ago and it was working however it was not working perfectly so I decided that I would try to reinstall it, I realized to late that I could have just updated it. So anyway I deleted "Program Files, windows and C:" in the windows explorer.exe X Windows system, I then deleted Macports ($ sudo rm -rf /opt ~/.wine

html rendering and gecko on a winmx install wine 1.1.11
opensuse 11.2 64 bit
I have downloaded and compiled/installed wine 1.1.11, so that I may use a windows program called WinMX 3.54b4 [32 bit] on my linux opensuse distro. I had been advised that Wine versions higher than this do not work well with WinMX. At the end of the compile it tells me that libgphoto2-32bit was not found and that cameras won't work. I check in Yast2 to see if it can

Wine Install and Uninstall Problems
Greetings all.
I have been running Wine under Kubuntu Feisty for about the last four months,
keeping it updated with the latest wine releases on a weekly basis, I use it
to run WordPerfect.
Whilst WordPerfect didn't run flawlessly, I got it to work well enough to edit
and save documents I work on at home. In four months none of the updates to
Wine changed anything in how WordPerfect

linux and wine noob needs help with installing SketchUp
I have Ubuntu 10.04 and just installed WINE 1.2 (because it's stable version).
I am installing SketchUp 8, and the installer asks what destination folder to install to. It defaults to
"C:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp 8\"
and won't let me change to the Linux format of
"home/user/Sketchup"
that I think is correct. What do I do? The Wine FAQ states:

Speex Logo?
Is there an official speex logo anywhere? As I owe the voice quality in
Mumble to Speex, I'd very much like to add at least an "About Speex"
dialog, but it will look kind of dull without at least a tiny icon.

bayesian mixed logit
Dear all,
I am writing an R code to fit a Bayesian mixed logit (BML) via MCMC / MH algorithms following Train (2009, ch. 12).
Unfortunately, after many draws the covariance matrix of the correlated random parameters tend to become a matrix with almost perfect correlation, so I think there is a bug in the code I wrote but I do not seem to be able to find it.. dull I know.
Has anybody written a

A question on rules simplification
[newbie question]
Before using Shorewall I used to manually write some very short iptables
rules which where probably much poorer than what this Shorewall gem does
but I could "follow" them very easily.
Now reading the output of iptable -L gives me a terrible headache.
Is there some tool that graphs the rules in order to "see" them better ?
For instance I was experiencing

Trouble installing packages on Macintosh OS-X 10.5.6
I just upgraded my version of R from 2.8.1 to 2.9.0. After doing so, I now
have problems using the package installer to reinstall all my packages.
Some download and install without problems, but for others, I get the
spinning pinwheel and after even 10 minutes, nothing is downloaded. R stops
responding. At first, I had not deleted the old version of 2.8.1 before
installing 2.9.0. However, I
