WINE doesn't work after kernel upgrade
After updating linux kernel from 2.6.26 to 2.6.30 on Debian GNU/Linux testing amd64 (kernel from repositaries) Wine doesn't work. Neither 1.1.27 (development), nor 1.0.1 (stable).
It can't open object files -- there are no such object files.

PATCH: Port equalloudfilt.m MATLAB to scilab
Although the script doesn't generate identical results, it seems to get fairly close.
The deviations for the Butterworth filter settings seem larger than for the equal loudness filter.
This script requires OpenSource scilab which is available for Windows, Linux and MacOS.

Conflict installing nvidia-glx-ia32 on 64 bit Debian
I'm trying to get EVE Online working on WINE in Debian Wheezy. I get the following error when I try to run eve.exe:
err:d3d:WineD3D_CreateFakeGLContext Can't find a suitable iPixelFormat
I believe I've traced the problem to needing the nvidia-glx-ia32 drivers. However, when I run apt-get install nvidia-glx-ia32, I get:
# apt-get install nvidia-glx-ia32
