Install Problems Centos 4.1
Dear All,
I have a K8S-MX Asus Athlon 64 Motherboard with a 754 pin 3000+ CPU,
which I cam trying to install 4.1 Centos 64 bit.
The problem seems to arise when installing onto Mirrored disks, I have
noticed that from Centos 4 onwards it tries to rebuild the arrays as it
installs which slows the whole process right down across all platforms I
have tried it on.
In addition, the install

Wine CD-ROM on Mac OS X
Can Wine access DVD-RW devices natively on Mac OS X like it can on Linux? I was using Wine in Linux to run ImgBurn and it worked great, but I recently switched to Snow Leopard and I don't know how to configure this.
I tried adding the Volume that was mounted by Finder. I tried adding /dev/disk2. Neither worked.
I really like ImgBurn and do not want to abandon it if possible. Thanks.

I've been looking.
I keep finding claims that Fedora live CD's exist,
but not actual images.
I did find a C6

Re: install issues
Are you trying to install the 64-bit or the 32-bit?
While the install is running, some of the other virtual consoles display
logs and error information. What do those show when the install rejects your
disk?
What result did you get trying from the HTTP install?

Re: install issues
Yep. Just grab the 'netinstall' iso file and burn it. (It's about 7mb)

Greetings, thank you in advance for the help. I'm currently running the Jaunty Ubuntu release with Wine 1.1.22. P4, 1 DVD Drive, one DVD R/W drive, 1.5 GB Ram, 20 GB Ubuntu partition, 46 gb Windows 7 partition. After difficulties with getting Wine to find my DVD R/W drive, i added the drive manually through /media/cdrom01. However, now IMGBurn, which I am trying to use, recognizes my computer

root .bash_profile?
su does not load .bash_profile and therefore is a completely different application than with any other user. This one is different, considering .bash_profile is indeed used for logins for other users.

FIFA 11 won't install in Wine 1.3.12
Hi! I've searched the forum (and the Internet) for this problem but apparently I'm lucky enough to be the only one experiencing it (yay!).
I've just installed Wine 1.3.12 and dotnet20 through winetricks in my Ubuntu 10.10. Everything went very smoothly. When I run "wine EASetup.exe" from the FIFA 11 DVD (not the physical disk but a mounted ISO), I get the initial install
