I have a application that writes to the LPT1 directly, in wine there is a lot of missing characters in the printout, in the console printing to /dev/lp0 works ok. I'm using puppy linux. Any help welcome. Thank you

We're trying to share an Epson USB inkjet printer via Samba 3.0.2-7 on our new Fedora server. The share is set up OK, and can be seen and opened from Windows clients. Hello! Has anyone had any luck getting CUPS to talk to an Epson Workforce 600 printer?
