app_queue bug with call transfer
--- Jonathan Tew <jonathan@ultracart.com> wrote:
We've got the app_queue configured to supposedly allow for a call to be
transferred. When the call comes in and an agent answers it (using
X-Lite Pro) and then decides to transfer the call (using the SIP phone
interface) they get disconnected from their call and after left logged
in to the queue system. Obviously we're doing

I have been trying to get WoW to run with wine for a few weeks now. Have tried multiple installs using repair.exe moving files reverting to an older version of wine almost everything (apparently not everything if its not running).
this is the error message I am receiving:

Samba seem to work fine but "cannot find my workgroup"
Wow, thank you so much for your instant reply!
I added it and executed "smbcontrol all reload-config", but the
message keeps appearing.
Should I kill and disable nmbd? I see such a process running.

Sanity check for Shorewall and Openswan VPN and 2.6
I''m just looking for a quick sanity check to make sure what I''m finding
is really all necessary here.
I''m upgrading a gateway/firewall from Linux 2.4 to 2.6 using Mandrake 10.1.
In the old 2.4 kernel I structured my firewall rules around the ipsec0
interface, which I understand isn''t present with Openswan
running under 2.6 (no KLIPS). Ok,
So as I start to

World of Warcraft installed on Windows-trying to run onLinux
Hello,
I know there's quite a lot of topics regarding WoW and Wine, but I did'nt find any where WoW was installed on Windows and trying to run on Linux with WINE.
So I have WoW installed on Windows XP (I'm not playing retail but private server if that makes any difference), and exactly it's WoW 3.1.3. When I try to run it with WINE, there appears a black screen, mouse cursor from

Problems running vanilla WoW
Heya,
I'm new to all things linux and wine, so forgive my noobiness.
I've installed World of Warcraft in wine by extracting the cds to the same directory and ran install.exe; that ran fine besides an error at the end saying that it couldn't add WOW to my add/remove programs.
When I try to run it however from ~/.wine/drive_c/wow/WoW.exe I get the following:
Code:
# wine WoW.exe

WoW + Wine Git
Howdy,
Recently, I fetched a post-1.1.5 version of Wine off of Git. I run WoW fullscreen in OpenGL. I've made no changes to my WoW configuration.
However, it appears this version of Wine now takes Gnome Panel into consideration when determining the OpenGL viewport size. It places the OpenGL viewport between my top and bottom Gnome Panel. It was neat to begin with, but now I'm coming

Problems with World of Warcraft since 0.9.48 update
Hi all,
I have installed WoW with 0.9.47 (actually also 0.9.45 and 0.9.46 on
previous Linux installs) and it was working fairly well (with the due
modification to the registry, WoW config file, and nice -15), but I
started to have few problems since I have updated wine to 0.9.48.
The first and most annoying problem is that every 15-25 minutes WoW
freeze; I have to kill it and reopen it. That is

Wow, patching and installing wine
Hi!
Everything is running fine on my machine, but yesterday, I came across one
interesting question concerning World of Warcraft:
The next patch for wow from Blizzard is certainly coming. Now, I know that
there is a patch for wine to be able to install WoW correctly, but this patch
seems to be related to the WoW patch. My question is: Do I have to compile
wine again when a new wine-patch is

[RFC] Making -mcpu=generic the default for ARM armv7a and arm8a rather than -mcpu=cortex-a8 or -mcpu=cortex-a53
Thanks for everyone giving their feedback!
I saw pretty unanimous support for making -mcpu=generic the default and making -mcpu=generic schedule for an in-order CPU (Cortex-A8 in this case).
I'll be making those changes shortly.
I think the comments also make clear that it's less obvious whether we'd want -mcpu=native to become a default. It's probably good for some use cases, but

Ventrilo + World of Warcraft ; Unhandled exception
Hi all [Exclamation]
I decided to register because i cant solve the problem with a game and speaking program from the topic.
When i run those 2 things separately they work very fine. But when i try to run them together World of Warcraft just freezes. Ventrilo still works fine, people can hear me and i can hear them. When i run WoW without Vent, it works really nice. Even voice chat in game

Will Echo problems EVER be solved, I'm scare d
dude it's gotta be something with your system. Im using same setup at home
with a TDM22 with no probs. Asterisk@Home 1.5, Compaq Deskpro EN P3 500,
cordless phones. You did a ton more than I did, I basically plugged
everything in and installed a@h.Worked first try.
Hate to say it, but would it be possible to try a different system? Even an
old system as long as it is PCI 2.2.
The big clue

blue screen instead of login screen
I installed Centos 6.2/i386 on a machine last night with a 1920x1080 monitor.
The installer ran in graphical mode and looked fine. After the install was
finished I rebooted and ran through the "firstboot" stuff (set up user, etc)
with no problem and, again, it looked good.
After that, when I should have seen the gdm login screen, all I got was the
blue background but not the box with

wow.exe Wont Run in Wine 1.2.1
Many months ago, my machine ran WoW 3.x flawlessly. Now however, with Linux, it wont run at all. I am using Wine 1.2.1 and WoW 4.0.1 installed fine with the downloader, and the launcher runs without a hitch (although the "play" button won't appear once in a while). But once the Launcher program attempts to run the wow.exe, I get nothing. No game, no error message.
