CRAN Mirror definition error.
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has run across this problem in the past and might be able to suggest a solution. I did a review of the FAQ's link trying to find a topic that closely related to the experience I was having, however I didn't see anything that might help in diagnosing the problem. While invoking the options under the "package" menu I get the following errors:

feature idea for wine : stereo 3D
NVidia is pushing a 200 dollar product which is nothing more than shutter glasses and ties into DirectX 10, encouraging people to move to Vista, which I personally believe is yet another nail in the coffen of closing the PC platform. Now I think a better idea would be to add a feature to wine that permits stereo imaging to be added to any program that makes use of 3D features in wine, to somehow

use join table in paginate
How come I allways immediately run into difficult stuff when I''m trying some new programming language? Am I blind for the simplicity of Ruby/Rail, which a see must be there? Anyway, don''t try and answer this rhetoric question. I have got another one for you, seemingly difficult. I''m struggling with a n:m relationship (in a database, that is) and its join table.

STI and :through, not working?
Artist.first.medias returns all medias. Media is an STI. Media can be video or painting. How do I return all paintings of an artist? Only paintings, not videos? In my Artist model, I tried putting: has_many :paintings, :through => :medias In console, I do: Artist.first.paintings.all And I get: ActiveRecord::HasManyThroughSourceAssociationNotFoundError: Could not find the source

Need advice on controller / view
Need some advice. I''ve got two modules: artists and paintings. In my home page, I''ve got a 2nd page that says "Browse paintings", which displays ALL paintings of ALL artists. This is being rendered by paintings#index. In another page, I should show all paintings of a specific artist ONLY. Meaning, paintings from ONE artist. I cant use paintings#index for this anymore

TDM04B - Takes long to initialize...
Hello All, I got my TDM04B card installed and configured. Everything works fine I can receive calls and route to appropriate extensions. The only problem I am facing is Slowness. When I dial the PSTN number which is connected to Zap 1-1 after two ring it answers and then run the AGI script. What I did was assign it to a specific extension. So all inbound call on that PSTN number should

concerns with moving from samba2 to samba3
Hi! I am planning on moving a samba server from RedHat 8.0 to RedHat AS4(U4) What I intend to do is put RHAS on a new machine and bring it up as if it were the old machine, after copying over the databases from the original machine. I will keep the same IP address and hostname. Note I do not use LDAP. My only slight concern is that I am moving from samba version 2 to samba version 3 so

sliding window over a large vector
Hi all, I have a very large binary vector, I wish to calculate the number of 1's over sliding windows. this is my very slow function slide<-function(seq,window){ n<-length(seq)-window tot<-c() tot[1]<-sum(seq[1:window]) for (i in 2:n) { tot[i]<- tot[i-1]-seq[i-1]+seq[i] } return(tot) } this works well for for reasonably sized vectors.
