Hi dere, I switched over from Windows to Linux and I'm loving it. I do have a few problems with Gmod. 1. It won't work. I downloaded Wine after I downloaded Gmod, would that mess it up? Do I have to redownload it? 2. I also downloaded it from Steam, does that affect it? kthnx :D

So I used to use the winepulse patch for wine. (Yes I like pulse). But since 1.3.25+ uses mmdevapi for audio, that patch no longer works. That author points to a wine multimedia git, however, after installing that I have no more sound in any wine application, and the winecfg test audio says audio failed. I would like to point Wine at my Linux temp directory instead of /home/username/.wine/drive_c/users/username/Temp. Is there a way to have the Wine environment variable specify a different location?

I downloaded a game that I play on my Windows machine hoping to play it on my Linux machine and each time I try installing/opening I get an error that says Non 7z archive. I have tried a few different ways of opening this file to be immediately greeted with this error. Any ideas what is the cause of this? It is a larger .exe file at 2g in size. Thanks.
