2 mouse cursors visible using a steam app
All, I am finally stumped enough by something to post in the forum! Basically whilst running a game through steam (either from steam itself or running the exe directly) I get 2 cursors. Now one of them is the one I would expect and works properly, however the second one is kinda anchored to the middle of the screen and looks like the gnome cursor. If you move your mouse, the middle cursor tries

Icewind Dale 2 Mouse Cursor
Hi, First I want to say I am really impressed with Wine. Its about as good as Cedega and sometimes better in my experience. Anyways my problem concerns Icewind Dale 2, after starting the game up my mouse cursor is not the gloved hand in game version but a mix of that and the KDE desktop cursor. It looks like a black square with both cursors overlapping. Naturally this makes it difficult to play

Re: Xorg cursor instead of wine's (or even changing wine's defau
I have been working on some cursor patches, and I think the last of my series implements cursor themes (ie. it uses the X arrow in place of the B/W one that Wine normally uses.) It searches for various custom wine_* cursors first, then checks for the standard system arrow, and lastly falls back to B/W cursors. If you can get the WoW arrow cursor, you could even theme Wine's arrow cursor to

tk mouse cursor icon widget tkwinfo tkfocus questions
1. I want to change the mouse cursor over my window into a wait/watch icon while R computes. Can this be done directly? Some ancient tcltk mailing lists said change the cursor over every widget in the window: foreach widget [winfo children $window] { $widget config -cursor watch } To do this I'll need a list of

Mouse cursor problems in Windows DomU after installing ATI-driver fglrx to X11
Hallo, I run Xen 3.0.4.1 on Ubuntu 6.06 with Gnome desktop. I can start Windows as DomU without problems, everything works fine (w2k server32 bit or w2k3 server 64 bit). Because I use the notebook HP nx9420 which has a wide screen, I installed into X11 the driver fglrx which supports the given resolution mode 1680x1050. Now, with the new driver The Gnome

Diablo 2 - Two mouse cursors
Hello, I'm running Diablo 2 under Wine. It runs beautifully, except I get two mouse cursors: the game cursor, and the X cursor. This can get kind of disconcerting sometimes, because they're not always colocated. Any hints? I have DxGrab = Y. -- Soli Deo Gloria -Rob French

Space Shuttle Mission 2007 - mouse cursor stuck
Hello, Space Shuttle Mission 2007 (http://www.space-shuttle-mission.com/) is awsome simulator I found missing in AppDB. Have anyone tried it? Unfortunately I have problem with it - mouse cursor is stuck within invisible rectangle, smaller then game screen surface. While using virtual desktop you can see that "real" mouse cursor moves out of game screen, but in-game cursor stays

Mouse cursor rotated on all screens when rotating a single screen.
I have two monitors, one landscape and the other portrait. When I rotate the portrait monitor using xrandr (or the xorg.conf option) the mouse cursor on the landscape monitor is also rotated and the "click point" is no longer below the cursor (this makes the mouse practically unusable). The cursor is correct on the rotated monitor. Setting NoAccel "False" and HWCursor

Mouse cursor disappears while moving in Wine window
Hi all! Using 64-bit Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope and Wine 1.1.23. Until a week ago, everything worked fine for me, but from that on mouse cursor started disappearing when moving in Wine window. More precisely, it turns "invisible". It still works, but I can't see the cursor. I believe no systemwide changes were made to the system (the user doesn't add apps by herself nor uses

Mouse Cursor not visible in winecfg (Ubuntu 8.04 wine-0.9.60
I installed the latest binary last evening, and I am unable to see my cursor in any applications, most notibly winecfg. I have removed/reinstalled wine, removed my .wine directory to see that they are created. I also have played with my xorg.conf and enabled/disabled hwcursor and swcursor. I haven't gotten the mouse to be visible with anything I have tried. It should be noted that my xorg

Returning position of mouse cursor (without button press) ?
I would like a function that return the X,Y position of the mouse cursor whenever it is called PERIOD, i.e., without the button presses of locator() or identify(). E.G., > where.is.mouse() [1] 123 34 # X and Y coordinates of present mouse position in current graphics window Is this a conceivable R function or does it need to be addressed with a call to the OS (Windows 2000 in my case)?

After Windows login black screen with mouse cursor
