Hello, The banner message displayed on the screen contain octal values instead of korean chars. Prior to ssh 5.1 the banner message would display the charaters properly. I understand that starting from 5.1 the message is passed through strnvis() function. I looked into documentation on strnvis and found that it does not support multibyte chars and doesnt work well with international chars.

I installed wine-20010305 debian package on a Linux 2.4.2 running XFree86 4.0.2 . I tried to run a simple windows game freecell.exe and it worked well. But I can't see the korean menu in the game. I've seen only some characters in the part of the menu such as (G), (H), .. , (N), F2, (S), F3, ..., etc , and the part (maybe "Game", "Help" in English) disappeared.

We have built a Suse Linux box as a member server to an existing NT 4 domain. kernel is 2.6.11.xxx samba is 3.0.13-xxx all local file systems are reiser. We installed samba from suse rpm's.
