Order of terms in formula changes aov() results
Hello, This one is very perplexing. I have teacher observation data, with factors teacher ID, observer ID, component, grade and subject. When I do this, aov(data=ratings.prin.22, rating ~ obsid.f + tid.f + subject.f + grade.f + comp.f) I get this: Terms: obsid.f tid.f grade.f comp.f Residuals Sum of Squares 306.23399 221.38173 1.70000 14.52831 279.05780 Deg. of

Newbie setup (Hardware questions)
Hello, I'm trying to setup an Asterix PBX solution in our office. We plan to have 5 active lines open available at any point in time. We'd like to use VoIP Phones, and possibly Software Based phone (*NIX/Windows enviroment). I was researching the various cards and I think I'd want to go with the Digium TDM40B - 4-port. However, I can't figure the differences between FXS &

Crear datos aleatorios con restriciones
Hola, 0.

Strange permissions problems
I had this problem some last year and never got it figured out. Now it is bugging me. It seems that sometimes when a student writes his/her file to a directory, it will not keep the correct group. It puts his/her main group as the group owner and that fouls things up. Here is what I have. Unix Permissions /school 3777 admin.teacher /school/bhs 3777 admin.teacher /school/bhs/reese
