At the moment I'm installing world of warcraft, which has 5 disks and the expansion which has another 4 disks. Now it works nicely, until the installation program asks me for disk 2. On windows it ejects automatically, but here it doesn't. It doesn't even eject when i try using the konsole command ( wine eject ). If I do that, the program says ( Cannot open device for drive e: ).

Looks like Nautilus is periodically 'stat'-ing the bookmark location. How about making a softlink to the target dir in your home directory, then bookmarking the link in nautilus. Hopefully Nautilus will stat the link and not the target then. K

I am trying to install multiple patches from CDROM. However the eject cd function does not work and if I umount /dev/cdrom it's gone forever unless I re-start the guest. Wing Commnader Prophecy (multiple CD's) install doesn't give any problem (due to its small pop-up format window) and the game plays well until I come to the next CD. Game grabs full screen 800x600 svga. Pop-up window for second CD appears, but I can not switch with <Alt><Tab> to desktop. What did I already try? Read lots of items on this forum :D

When I try to burn anything to cd, I get a message to insert a CD large enough for my file (normally an ISO image). Doesn't matter if the iso image is a 600Mb Centos ISO or a 48Mb DSL ISO. Same warning. My CD-Rs are Memorex 700MB/80min 52x disks that work just fine on XP systems. So what am I missing configuration-wise?
