ODP: ODP: Joining BDC (Samba) to PDC (Samba)
Normal PDC/BDC isn't possible now. It will be in Samba 3.0 (look in
documentation). But you can create substitute solution. For example two
idendicaly
servers with autocopy of password database, but it isn't PDC/BDC relations.
It is two identicaly domains. I have two servers with samba, with two
indenticaly password databases and smb.conf. When I have problem with one, I

What does "Odp" mean?
Though I've been on the list for quite a while, I've not yet figured out what the "Odp:"
entry in subject lines means. Is it important information?

Odp: Currency return calculations
My mistake sir. I was literally engrossed in my stupid logic, and while doing so, overlooked the simple and very effective solution you had offered. Sorry once again sir and will certainly try to be very careful in future.
Thanks again and have a great weekend sir.

rpmforge/dag's perl-Apache-ASP
Has anyone actually had any success in installing the perl-Apache-ASP package
from rpmforge? CentOS 4 seems to have just the right combination of almost
using mod_perl 2 (1.99 before major API changes) to make this extremely hard
to get right while staying with somewhat standard packages. I suspect it's
in the repo but not actually tested, as I've tried quite a few combinations

Odp: Fw: R function for Gage R&R
Hi Elaine
I do not use it very often. I programmed it to mimic Minitab functions
(partly) with some adons from czech statistics textbook written by
M.Meloun (meloun militky statistics - first hit in google)
Basically you can have your data in some data frame or they can be as
separated vectors. The function itself expects input of 3 vectors, but you
can easily to modify it for imput as

Odp: Finding pairs
Dear Mr Petr Pikal
I am extremely sorry for the manner I have raised the query. Actually that was my first post to this R forum and in fact even I was also bit confused while drafting the query, for which I really owe sorry to all for consuming the precious time. Perhaps I will try to redraft my query in a better way as follows.
I have two datasets "A" and "B" containing the

I provision with:
/usr/local/samba/bin/samba-tool domain provision --realm=corp.example.com.pl --domain=EXAMPLE --adminpass="xxxxxx" --server-role=dc --dns-backend=SAMBA_INTERNAL
Now I know that I made a mistake. I did use lowcase in realm (Is this really problem?) and I did not use switches --use-rfc2307 --use-xattrs=yes.
I do not use AD for UNIX accounts authentication, but I would

dotnet20 on ubuntu 8.10
Howdy Howdy,
I am trying to run Razor and RunUO on my Intrepid Ibex box, but am struggling. I am using 64 bit and wine 1.1.13.
Specifically, I cannot get dotnet11 or dotnet20 to work (via winetricks).
Any hints? I've tried various walk-throughs and read posts by the dozens, all without success.
This is what it states:

I am using JRI (Java R Interface) library in order to call R from within my

are objects of type S4 once i run the application the value of Null will be
returned for both of them. On this regard, i would appreciate it if anyone
