PureEdge Viewer and Wine
I know it has been a while since the last thread for this.
I got my CAC Card working in Debian "etch" (Xandros OCE 4.5). I'd like to give running PureEdge Viewer a shot under Wine. I know where to get the latest version of Wine for etch.
My question is this: has anyone worked with PureEdge Viewer and the latest version of Wine? Also, anything about digitally signing the forms too?

Set riched20.dll specifically for powerpoint 2007
Hi there,
I have installed MS Office 2007 in wine 1.2.2 running in LinuxMint KDE 9, together with other softwares (including GraphPad Prism 4).
After install, I set riched20.dll as native (windows), as stipulated here:

need help
Dear Vorbis folks,
I use a 64bit MacBookPro, have installed the XiphQT to Library/Components as instructions say.
I have set iTunes to accept 32 bit as instruction say.
Using Safari, on a page (in Wikipedia), when I click on ?Play?, a new tab/browser window opens and I get the message: ?Missing Plug-In?. The url of the page where I get the ?Missing Plug-In? message is:

Fail2ban mail failures ???
I'm using fail2ban with CentOS 6.6. Something is causing fail2ban's

file_inlcude .. why not?
Don't know if this has been addressed, but why isn't there a
file_include style directive for extensions.conf?
I find that my extensions.conf grows a lot, and it would be a lot nicer
to have a tree of files rather than one big file to try and navigate.
Also, I've got a couple different 'systems' running concurrently on one
asterisk box (ie, completely different groups of

source() or OS X Lion?
Dear R Gurus,
I'm seeing some strange behavior that I can't explain. I'm generating a figure for a paper and I like to save the script (no matter how simple) for future reference. My practice is to write the script and run it using the 'source()' function. What's weird is that the resultant figure is not readable by OS X 10.7.0 (Lion). While trying to figure out what I did

Working Compile on OS/X 10.7 (Lion)
I've been trying for sometime to get a working compile on Lion and have had little to no success in getting wine to work correctly. If I compiled wine on 10.6.x and then upgrade to Lion that will work, but a fresh new compile on Lion doesn't seem to work using X-Code 3.2.6 or X-Code 4.1.
So I ask the question... Has anyone got a fresh compile of wine to work on Lion and if so what

rsync performance
We're using rsync 2.6.3 to sync two DELL PowerEdge servers with both
Redhat-EL4 and otherwise nearly identical hardware (2.8/3GHz, 1GB RAM
each). The source machine has a SCSI-RAID1, the destination a
SATA-RAID1 disk attached.
There are 5 filesystems which are rsynced via ssh. On the smaller
filesystems with ~200.000 files/7GB, rsync takes 1-3 minutes:

There's posix_spawnattr_setflags() that can do the job
(http://reverse.put.as/2011/08/11/how-gdb-disables-aslr-in-mac-os-x-lion/),
but the necessary flag appeared only in Lion.
To the best of my
