Okay, it seems to fix the problem! I have followed few steps described here to
update the kernel:

Outdated r-base-core when installing on Ubuntu 14.04
Thanks for the replies.
Crouton does get in the way of installing arbitrary linux distros - in
particular the only ubuntu distros that are fully supported are precise and
trusty (12.04 and 14.04). Others have gotten vivid and wily to work with
some effort. I found a reasonably detailed guide for vivid, so I'm
currently installing it on the machine. We'll see how it goes. Once it's

[PATCH] nvkm/iccsense: Parse the resistors and config the right way
Previously we parsed that table a bit wrong:
1. The entry layout depends on the sensor type used.
2. We have all resitors in one entry for the INA3221.
3. The config is already included in the vbios.
This commit addresses that issue and with that we should be able to read
out the right power consumption for every GPU with a INA209, INA219 and
INA3221.

selecting columns
I need help.
I have very big .csv files with many unnecessary columns. From the original
.csv files I would like to create a new .csv file with just the columns I
need.
For example:
The original column heading are: Date, Time, Location, Sensor Name, Sensor
Serial, Ambient Temp, IR Temp, Sensor Name.1, Sensor Serial.1, Ambient
Temp.1, IR Temp.1, Sensor Name.2, Sensor Serial.2, Ambient

Problems with r-cran-rcurl in Trusty and Vivid. (Re: Install R on Ubuntu with libcurl support)
Hello everybody,
by the way, speaking about the r-cran-rcurl package in Ubuntu, the versions in
trusty and vivid are linked by error to the "NSS" flavour of libcurl3 instead
of the "OpenSSL flavour", which cause at least problems when using the CRAN
devtools package. A bit more details are available in the Debian bug tracking
system (https://bugs.debian.org/786473). I am not

R-packages for Ubuntu 15.10 wily
Dear Dirk,
I just upgraded to Ubuntu 15.10. It seems that the r-packages are not
upgrading although deb files exist on the cran repository.
For instance, r-cran-rjags is back to 3-15-1
On the repository, I saw that the 'Sources' and 'Packages' files in wily
folder show vivid version of packages although dated to yesterday :

[RFC] nouveau: Add basic i2c sensor chip support
This adds basic support for driving sensor chips off the nvidia i2c buses,
along with basic support for reading the internal GPU sensor on supported
chipsets. It's heavily cribbed off nvclock. Having scanned a large number
of bioses, I'm pretty convinced that the appropriate i2c bus is always
number 2 in the list on <g80 - I'm not sure about later cards yet.
There's still a lot

[RFC PATCH 01/29] therm: split return code and value in nvkm_get_temp
The current hwmon code doesn't check if the returned value was actually an
error.
Since Kepler temperature sensors are able to report negative values.
Since Pascal (and maybe earlier) we have sensors with improved precision.
Adjust the nvkm_get_temp method to be able to deal with those changes
and let hwmon return an error properly.

Xen/Snort sensor VM network config
I am attempting to create an IDS appliance proof-of-concept using Xen to
virtualize the management server and sensors. To keep things simple, I am
just trying to get one domU sensor and the domU management VM working
together for now, but plan on using multiple domU sensors eventually. The
VMs are all configured and ready to go, but the problem I am running into
is an inability to see all the
