Wow - Downloader Connection timeout
I've been trying to get WoW working onmy Fedora 14 installation, but I seem to be having problems getting the internet connection to work. I start the game with Code: wine Launcher.exe -opengl in the ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/World of Warcraft directory. I can access the internet from using Code: wine iexplore http://www.google.com so I know the wine network connection works.

Wine bottle management
I found a nice program to add bottle management to wine in Linux. It wasn't mentioned in the wiki on third party apps, so I added it. But since it wasn't already there, I guess it was not commonly known, so that why I mention it here too. Worthwhile to check out. http://wibom.sourceforge.net/

Getting Alibre Design to work...
I am new to Wine and don't really know my way round it but I thought I might try my CAD software on it, Alibre Design. It seems to have installed fine but won't start. I have discussed this in another thread already (here: http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=9205) but the heading is rather misleading so I thought I might start a new thread with a proper heading. Any help in getting

Hello everybody, I installed Ubuntu 10.10 a few days ago after Windows Vista crashed again. I have to say that Linux is way better than Windows, so I don't want to go back. But I like to game sometimes, and that's the only thing Windows does better than Linux. I want to install Battlefield 2, but it really doesn't work. Error msg on shell trying to open WoW (Newb)
Hey everyone, I'll start off by saying I've never successfully made the transition to linux after trying 6 times.
