Installing Adobe Flash CS4- Wine 1.1.23
I am using Vector Linux (Slackware based I think). I tried to install Adobe Flash CS4 Professional; the installer starts, but when it gets to "Checking system profile..." the installer gives gives me an error and closes. Heres a <a href="http://spamtheweb.com/ul/upload/240609/44570_error.txt">link</a> to a text file with the... output that I got from the terminal.

Adobe Alchemy — C to Flash VM compiler
Adobe has created an LLVM based C to Flash VM compiler. Their example code includes the Vorbis library: http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Alchemy:Libraries This should make producing a Flash Ogg/Theora player using the Theora reference library a fairly straight forward process. Such a player will never perform as well as native support, but it would be highly valuable along side cortado

Need info on adobe flash player plugin 32 for CentOS7
Hello all-- I kept getting messages that my old Flash Player 31 was obsolete so I went in search of an update. I came across several references for getting flash plugin 32 that basically were the same as this page -- https://www.if-not-true-then-false.com/2010/install-adobe-flash-player-10-on-fedora-centos-red-hat-rhel/ However, it seems the site -- |http://linuxdownload.adobe.com/ does NOT

How to re-enable Adobe Flash in Firefox
Mozilla seems to have disabled Adobe Flash in a recent update. I have one 6.3 Desktop load that I need flash. when directed to the Adobe site and download the latest version, yum tells me I have the latest version for x86_64 already installed. I must keep the wife happy with Facebook and YouTube--and if the wife isn't happy, no one in the house is happy. How do I re-enable flash? DaveM

from Adobe Flex / Flash Player 10 .flv Speex via Red5 to .wav PCM?
I am having trouble converting a .flv file uploaded from Adobe Flex / Flash Player 10 to a Red5 server using the speex coder: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/langref/flash/media/Microphone.html http://jira.red5.org/confluence/display/codecs/Speex+Codec Questions: 1. How do I extract the audio track out of such a .flv file? 2. How do I convert it from Speex to .wav PCM? Thanks.

Problems with Adobe flash-plugin and Firefox-3.5.x under CentOs-5.3 (yum up to date)
Hi, I am running 32-bit Firefox-3.5.3 on Centos-5.3 (64-bit kernel) on a Dell Precision M65 laptop. This is likely a Adobe problem, but maybe someone else has seen this before. Please CC me, as I only receive the digest version of the list. When using the 10.0.32.18-release version of the flash-plugin, trying to access *any* page containing flash (e.g. www.adobe.com) causes the browser to

No sound from Adobe flash player 9.0.31 on CentOS 4.4 x86_64
I have the Adobe (Macromedia) flash player installed on my CentOS 4.4 x86_64 system, but when I try to play a flash movie in SeaMonkey (or Firefox - doesn't matter) I get no sound. I'm using the nspluginwrapper 0.9.91.4 to make it work at all, but there's no sound. All my other sound devices/players work just fine, even my Windows guest on VMWare Server. Any ideas/suggestions? Yes,

Bug in Latest Adobe Flash Plugin
I'm running Centos 5.7 32 bit with Firefox 10.0.5 ESR Not sure if this has been mentioned on the list yet, but the latest version of Adobe flash-plugin 11.2.202 has a bug which causes it to hang and not play SWF files. I've been pulling my hair out trying to identify why I could not get any SWF videos to play. I finally found the answer here:

Adobe Flash isn't working on some sites
Flash used for editing on http://opensteetmaps.com isn't working at all in Firefox. On many other sites it works better with varying degree of malfunction. I have Flash 10 and Firefox-3.5.2. Is this a known problem? Is this likely to be fixed? AppDB only seems to talk about the design studio, not the Flash plugin itself. Yuri
