User Home Folders
Following the "User Home Folders" page on the wiki using
Group Policy
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/User_Home_Folders
I see this page was last updated in March 2017.
Not sure if anything has changed.
Although I can access the shares, the %LogonUser% directory
does not seem to be automatically generating.
Thoughts?

Cross-Machine COM-Calls under Wine...
are working now, using our own implementation of a COM-RPC-Server.
If you want to test a Server/Client-Pair - here's our free Download:
www.datenhaus.de/Downloads/dh_RPC.zip
For a successful test under wine, you have to Install
the Redistributables of an actual VB6-Runtime
and some ADO-Distributable >=2.5 first.
I've tested the whole thing under a Debian-Sid with a somewhat

W2K RAS Server in Samba 3.0.0 Domain
We set up a DialIn W2K SP4 member server in our Samba 3.0.0 domain.
When a client dials in the RAS server complains:
Error 930: The authentication server did not respond to authentication
requests in a timely fashion.
I tracked down the RAS logfile IASSAM.LOG:
[576] 18:30:34:921: NT-SAM Names handler received request with user identity
root.
[576] 18:30:34:921: Prepending default domain.

samba 3.0.14a works with ldapsam backend but not 3.5.10-125.el6
we are migrating our standalone Samba sever (3.0.14a) on a Solaris 10 box to
an RHEL 6.3 box.
Testing shows that on Solaris 3.0.14a works with both the OpenLDAP server
we are currently using and the IPA2.2 server as LDAP backend. But 3.5.10-125.el6
on a RHEL 6.3 box does not work with either.
I can still map a share with 3.5 as owner of the shared directory, but secondary
group ownership does

Automatic mapping shares on logon time
Hello we are testing samba 4.11.2 and we try automatic mapping shares
folders for users that their have permissions on fileserver, on the logon
time, like logon script on Windows.
Any have a method to do this ?
I explain, instead of the user go to "File Browser" and navigate and map
the share folders on the fileserver, we try to automatic map this folders
on logon time.
regards.

p.adjust( , fdr)
Hello,
I am not sure about the p.adjust( , fdr). How do these adjusted p-values
get?
I have read papers of BH method. For independent case, we compare the
ordered p-values with the alfa*i/m, where m is the number of tests. But I
have checked that result based on the adjusted p-values is different with
that by using the independent case method.
Then how do the result of p.adjust( , fdr) come?

32bit HVM PV drivers on 64bit hypervisor
Hi Steven,
I onced played with your PV-on-HVM driver before it is checked in into
unstable, I remember at that time, there is a XENFEAT_64bit_shared_info
flag to handle situation of 32bit guest on 64bit hypervisor, at least
vnif works fine with it.
Later, when the code is checked in, this flag is gone. At first I though
this was an effort to make hypervisor more transparent to HVM guest, but
