[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Cross-compiling LLVM on Mac OS X
>> Daniel's comments are also good.

> …success!
Looks like I spoke a bit too soon. Everything works as far as the fat binaries are concerned, except that -mmacosx-version-min is set to the host’s OS version, not that of the SDK, causing errors when it tries to link against 10.6’s versions of libraries instead of 10.5’s.
This patch appears to solve that; it uses the OS version

"Wine cannot find the FreeType font library."
Whenever I try running a Windows executable thru the terminal, Wine gives me the following.
Code:
Wine cannot find the FreeType font library. To enable Wine to
use TrueType fonts please install a version of FreeType greater than
or equal to 2.0.5.
I've tried devnulling the output but the message keeps appearing. The executable I need to use works like it's supposed to, but Wine opens

Installing the Mac RGUI for OS X
Hello,
Having installed R 2.3 for OS X Tiger 10.4.6(PPC), i tried running
the new R.app, but it hangs (spinning beachball).
Moreover, i can't install the RGUI from within the R-2.3 DMG, - it
tells me i must have R 10.4 installed ! (I have 10.4.6)
R 2.3 runs successfully from the command line however.
I tried compiling from sources, but Xcode has this error(i.e it

Clang API: any way to use a virtual filesystem ?
Hello,
I am shipping my app (https://ossia.io) with an embedded clang to allow
people to write extensions in C++ at run-time.
For that to work I also ship a SDK with all the required headers, libc++,
etc... which is downloaded & extracted in some folder.
Problem is: while on my linux dev. machine this operation is fast,
apparently on Windows and mac extracting a .zip with a few thousand

SecuROM and Wine on Mac OS X
Bah! Okay, so I'm running WINE v1.1.43 on Mac OS X.6.3.
Now, I went and bought myself a copy of Oblivion (Game of the Year Edition), but it's got smelly SecuROM in it, which I understand WINE supports?
However, whenever I try to run one of the "protected" (from customers) programs it complains that there is no disk. The disk however is there alright, and I have a mapping for

Problems starting wine...
I'm hoping someone can help me out with this...
I've been running the Wine package in Debian/Woody for quite a while
now, and have been able to run most of the windows programs I want to.
However, for some reason wine just stopped working for me. Here is the
error output for every windows program I run:

[LLVMdev] Cross-compiling LLVM on Mac OS X
Hello,
I’ve spent the past day or so attempting to get LLVM’s libraries built as a Mac OS X-style universal binary, the first step of which is to get them built for each component architecture (i386, x86_64, ppc, and ppc64).
The first two are straightforward as I am working on an x86_64 Mac (running Mac OS X 10.6, which corresponds to Darwin 10), but building ppc binaries has thus far eluded me.
