R-beta: New Package bindata at CRAN
I have put the new package bindata to CRAN, which provides a method
for creating binary (i.e., 0-1-valued) random variables with
correlation structures by converting multivariate random variables to
binary variables.
The package includes a postscript file of a technical report
describing the method, here's the abstract:

Repost: Browsing across subnets (again)
I'm sorry if people are getting fed up with my question, but I didn't get a response from the first post, and I didn't even see the second post appear in the summary.
Hi All,
this is probably a common problem and FAQ but I can't the solution.
I've got two subnets, 10.1.1.0/255.255.0.0 at Leeds and 10.2.0.0/255.255.0.0 at Doncaster.
At Leeds, I've got samba running as

Latent Class with covariates
Dear all
Last week, I posted a question and some of you spent their valuable time to respond. Thank you (once again). This time, after doing a lot of homework, I return with a second question on the issue.
I was advised to use poLCA for a Latent Class Analysis with covariates. The software works well, although I feel a bit uncomfortable with the fact that you need to run many times the

Controller and Model Responsibilities
Hi everyone,
I am wondering what code has to go into the controller and what into
the model. Generally I would think that all operations that keep the
model in a proper state should be done within the model, and the
controller should only provide the actions necessary to carry out the
application''s use cases. Am I right so far?
My situation is the following. Whenever an admin performs

Repeated measures logistic regression
Dear all,
I'm struggling to find the best (set of?) function(s) to do repeated
measures logistic regression on some data from a psychology experiment.
An artificial version of the data I've got is as follows. Firstly,
each participant filled in a questionnaire, the result of which is a
score.
