Microsoft Office 2007 and Wine only
First off before I delve into the purpose of this thread I want to lay down a few ground rules. This thread is only about MS OFFICE 2007 (OFFICE 12) and Wine. No Exceptions! To break it down further I don't want any information about the following alternatives which I know work, but defeat the purpose. No talk of: Open Office (Ooo) MS OFFICE 2000, XP or 2003 CrossOver Office any emulators

Slow printing buffer.
Abbreviated question: Is there a way to manipulate how Wine handles printing? Abbreviated problem description: Microsoft Word 2007 takes roughly 3 minutes per page to print. ----------------------------------------- Longer version: I'm using a registered and licensed copy, I purchased, of Microsoft Office 2007. I installed it perfectly! All the applications work and I've gotten a lot

Re: Office 2007 Programs will not Launch
Hello, I am new to wine altogether and find myself experiencing this same problem. I've read through this posting and taken all the advice into account...My install of Office is clean, and I selected to ONLY install word. Also I do not have winetricks installed (or know where to install it from, so I'm glad it's not needed). Terminal output: root at walt-laptop:~# wine

MS Outlook 2007 won't open
I have installed Word, Excel, and Outlook from Office 2007 Enterprise. Word and Excel work okay. But Outlook can't open its main window when I start it (I get an error dialog from Outlook saying that). The configuration wizard run okay. I have tried this on two separate Fedora installations (F12 and F13) using the latest wine version from the repos (1.2). I have googled around and seen posts

ACLs behaving differently on Samba 4 / Ubuntu 12.04 / Bind 9.81 between ZFS and EXT4 file systems
Dear all, The system is Ubuntu 12.04 (latest beta as of yesterday) Bind 9.81 (12.04 standard) Samba 4, also git-cloned yesterday. I've imported a zpool created on another ubuntu system with the same version of zfs-linux (RC-8) http://zfsonlinux.org/ The zpool is working perfectly well; responsive, no errors reported, scrubbed. Samba can see the zpool as part of the greater file system and

[LLVMdev] alloca not in first bb behaving differently
Thanks all. David why do you say it is particularly bad IR (other than not having gone through SROA). Is it the multiple blocks for early returns? That is how I'm supporting early returns in the middle of a basic block. I couldn't find any other way. string to date/time?
Hey All, Anyone know of a library for parsing "human" dates, like "this friday" or "2 days ago"? I used to use strtotime in php, but starting from here; http://wiki.rubyonrails.com/rails/pages/PhpStrtotime and doing lots of googling, I haven''t been able to find anything similar for ruby. I know of javascript solutions to this, but I''d need to do

using windows ad accounts for centos 5
Hi I read and used the article http://blog.wazollc.com/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=2 to authenticate my ad accounts when logging on to cent 5...however, once I edit the nsswitch.conf file, I can't even log on as root or any local users anymore. Kinit seems to initialize fine doing a kinit username at MYDOMAIN.COM , however doing a getent passwd adusername ....it just sits there in the shell and

[LLVMdev] Testing Target Optimization via ASM Injection
Hi Renato, Thanks for the response. While it is true that creating an IR optimization gives a better return due to it being applicable to any target ASM, there are also a lot of target specific optimizations that devs have felt are worthwhile enough to create, such as the ARMLoadStoreOptimizer.cpp file which contains ARM specific ASM optimizations. So I know that target specific optimizations are

VoicePulse Connect Problems
Just a quick couple of questions for ya'll. 1) Does anyone know if VoicePulse Connect will be supporting dtmf tones? I have had a terrible time getting a hold of anyone over there, and I need this functionality before I can migrate to * completely. 2) Are there currently any problems with inbound DID's? Everything is setup properly in *, but I am not able to receive inbound calls,
