I have been attempting to run the .exe file for the game Maplestory using the latest version of WIne. I am using the OS Ubuntu 10.10. However, when I right click the .exe file (which i have saved to the desktop) and click run with wine, all I see is a white box and that is all. No next buttons, etc. I have attempted to run the exe file from a terminal command as per the instructions in the faq,

Hey with Wine I've ran the game Mabinogi (that uses Hackshield) and it ran good but when I format my PC and reinstall Ubuntu when I tried to run Mabinogi Hackshield shows me an error window: 0x00000108 :( The firts try that I ran correctly Mabinogi was in the Wine old version 1.0.1 with DirectX libraries replacements, windows ME and runing in a emulated desktop. hey guys! im new and am not exactly sure how things work.. i want to play maplestory and im currently using meego os. so iv been advised to install wine. wine is telling me to copy two .dll files into system37 however i am having trouble doing this... so im using the program WINE FILE.. however i cant copy and paste.. so i dont know how to get those two .dll files into the system37 folder
