Run Command (or option) to disable Wine Title Bar
Hello, I couldn't find any information regarding how to disable the title bar for applications running in Wine, so excuse me if there is already an topic about it. I'm looking for an option, or an command, so I can disable the title bar when there is an application running trough Wine - the title bar is just using my precious vertical space. Any official support, or atleast an

Winamp equalizer problems
I just wanted to know if anyone has noticed a difference between MP3 and OGG encoded files when having the Winamp equalizer switched on? I seem to be missing bass and the sound doesn't fill the room as much with OGG. With the EQ turned off there is no discernable difference between both LAME and Vorbis encoded files (both at an average of 192 kbps). Is this an error with the OGG Winamp plugin?

WINAMP & FLAC
Hi, This word for a little problem : when using the Equalizer integrated with Winamp v 5.24, this has no action on FLAC files! With MP3 files, no problem, and when reading FLAC files using the Creative Equalizer, no problems too! Is this a bug in Winamp ? Live stream equalizer
I was under the impression that "PCM equalizer" means it only equalizes the PCM codec, i.e. WAV files. Have you noticed a significant quality improvement in the EQ for compressed media: MP3, Vorbis, MPC? Vorbis decoders and equalizer
When I activate the equalizer in WinAmp, QCD, and Sonic Foundry SIREN Jukebox, I get a funny "washed out" sound to it. Vorbis sounds fine without it, but I miss the extra bass and what-not. I was wondering why this happens? --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to

Live stream equalizer
Uh, WinAmp 2 with Oddsock? You'll probably want an EQ-plugin though, since WinAmp's default isn't great. >From: assorgia@tin.it >Reply-To: icecast@xiph.org >To: icecast@xiph.org >Subject: [icecast] Live stream equalizer >Date: Thu, 30 Oct 2003 10:40:00 +0100 > >Question 2: > >I've been asked to stream a live event (no music, just talking). the

Win32API patch?
Hi all, Passing a Fixnum when you should have passed a String (pointer) causes a segfault in Win32API. I''ve already reported this on RubyForge (Bug #3904): require ''Win32API'' RegFormat = Win32API.new(''user32'', ''RegisterClipboardFormat'', ''P'', ''I'') RegFormat.call(1) # Boom! I''ve traced the

C++ runtime error
Greetings, I'm having a slight error with a certain program in wine. I'm using RPG Maker XP to make an rpg game. It utilizes a modified version of ruby called RGSS. I am using a script that opens a debug output console, it works fine in M$ Windows, but I get the following error in wine: > Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library > Runtime Error! > > Program:

Bug in win32-api with void prototypes?
Hi all, It seems that a void prototype requires an explicit argument in our version of win32/api: C:\>irb irb(main):001:0> require ''win32/api'' => true irb(main):002:0> include Win32 => Object irb(main):003:0> require ''Win32API'' => true # Our version irb(main):004:0> GetLastErrorA = API.new(''GetLastError'',

windows-api command decision
Hi all, Ok folks, here''s how it is. The windows-api project will, from now on, consist of two parts. The first part is "win32-api". This is a replacement for ''Win32API''. This is a refactored version of the Win32API that currently ships with Ruby''s stdlib. It is a C extension. Changes include: * Name change - it''s now

How to strip out the title bar from xterm windows on CentOS 5 GNOME?
Hi. Running CentOS 5 with the default GNOME desktop. Is it possible to configure xterm windows not to have title bars to get the most out of the available screenspace? I've tried to look this up but mostly find reference how to change the content of the title bar; I want to remove it completely. Found a reference to Compiz but the version available through CentOS seems old (0.0.13 compared
