Centos in the Browser string ?
I know Centos is a 100% rebuilt of whatever Red Hat has produced, even
though the version numbers are no longer visually identical and, as
Johnny always writes, "If it ain't in the Red Hat version, it ain't in
Centos" or words having the same meaning.
Having got circa 20,000 hits, from all round the world, to a single dull
web page in 2 days, I thought I would analyse the

Problem with Windows app accessing internet
Hi
I have been using MCC Pilotlog with some success in Wine recently, but have run into a vexatious issue.
One of the features of the application is that it can log into a company crew information system and retrieve flight information into the log. I have tested this on a windows VM, and it works fine.
However, under Wine, we get error 445 and then a crash. I am a bit surprised, as I thought

naiveBayes: slow predict, weird results
I did this:
nb <- naiveBayes(users, platform)
pl <- predict(nb,users)
nrow(users) ==> 314781
ncol(users) ==> 109
1. naiveBayes() was quite fast (~20 seconds), while predict() was slow
(tens of minutes). why?
2. the predict results were completely off the mark (quite the opposite
of the expected overfitting). suffice it to show the tables:

Current Listeners count wrong for HTML Audio on Android?
Hello
I always have had best results encoding the stream .mp3 it works on all
devices. I also suggest the source to be the same or better than your
stream.. this saves in many areas. it sounds like you are possibly
debugging a time lapsed source/ stream.. i did not read all so if this is
not so i apologize

I have a Parrot Asteroid car media receiver that uses an Android based operating system to function.
Is there anything the development crew can do to make the Asteroid stream FLAC audio?
the system does have an installer for 3rd party .APK files
Best regards,
Rob.

icecast dev
Hi.
Good to see new spirit of icecast!
I have some suggestions:
1. Compatibility to iphone/android. There is a way to make the icecast
working as one point solution to iphone/android? a lot of streamers
searching for that.
2. I'm running icecast 2.3.2 on my 2008 windows server. I don't know how to
explain this but I will try:
When you starting to listen to a icecast

Current Listeners count wrong for HTML Audio on Android?
Thanks for this information, but the two connections do not die out when using my player in the Android browser. In fact they even stay when the Audio.src is set to some invalid string.
You can observe this here: http://concertzender.nl/wp-content/themes/cz-theme/App/test/ , by clicking one of the large icons - and then monitor the corresponding stream here: http://streams.greenhost.nl:8080/

Hi John,
I have used Muses in the past with partial success. I'm not sure I'd say
"runs on all devices" as it is a Flash-based player. I have been in
contact with the developer in the past and he said an HTML5 version
would be a good idea.
With my own Icecast server, when listening with Muses, for some reason
every 4-5 songs the stream would lock up. This doesn't occur when
