Screen is unsynced with the window in Melty Blood: AC
I've got Melty Blood: Act Cadenza Ver B working somewhat through the latest OSX version of Wine (I have Snow Leopard), the game itself functions well but it's off center from the window, so there's some extra space left on the bottom of the window and the top area is obscured, like so: [Image: http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/1411/screenshot20101210at254.png ] Can this be fixed

Problem with Hitman Blood Money
I've installed Hitman Blood Money (twice), using Playonlinux. The installation went (almost perfectly) well, but directx installation crashed. When I launch the game, it works fine but the image is upside down... I found a thread giving an answer (changing the OffscreenRenderingMode here : http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iVersionId=4976) but (I think because of DX crash) there is no such

[LLVMdev] Compiler name: Nāga
Hi, the idea of a dragon theme reminded me of the dragon-like serpents called "Nāga" from Cambodian mythology, among other places. Here's a brief link explaining the specific Cambodian meaning - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naga_(mythology)#N.C4.81gas_in_Cambodia I like this as a name, because it's unique short and easy to type and remember (as long as you omit the accent,

The result is nothing-- no error message, nothing loads, nothing flashes. I have the program installed in /root/.wine/Apps/Winny2, and I use the appropriate ' wine "[path]" ' command to execute the

[fdo] Standardization of input methods on Linux?
Hello! I don't know how well this fits within the scope of Freedesktop's current work, but as a Linux user who studies languages, I think there's an area that could definitely use improvement, namely input methods for various Asian and other non-romance languages. While several solutions for inputting these languages are available, most of them seem to be of the "rocket

Replace nospam with ssb22 to reply by email. Hi, Does anybody have pointers about using SAPI 5 speech synthesis engines (sometimes called a "SAPI 5 voices") under Wine?
