Hello all.
I recently submitted this to the Appdb:
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=22029
I want to submit an error report, but I'm not sure it's an error with WINE.
I used the terminal and winetricks to determine that I should install MSVCR90.dll. Did that, which removed some errors, after which the application window would now show (though it would

Bridging of PRI calls
Hello !
I 've some questions how bridging of ISDN calls is done.
Assume an asterisk system with a TE405 card equipped.
(PRI1 - PRI4)
An incoming ISDN call on PRI1 is transfered back to
PRI3. Unless there is DTMF detection or other things
involved, the bridging is done without Asterisk. Does
this card have a some sort of cross connection ? Does
the PCM leave the card ? Or is there some DMA

What would cause an unexpected massive transfer
I've rsynced two directory structures back and forth a few times.
Its a desktop to external (portable) drive. And then back once mobile
work has changed files and field work is done.
On this last go around I expected a few files to be transferred maybe
15-20 but instead I'm seeing several thousand.
No way most of those were changed. At least not data wise.
It doesn't appear that

Growth rate determination using ANCOVA
I'm a programmer in a biology lab who is starting to use R to automate
some of our statistical analysis of growth rate determination. But I'm
running into some problems as I re-code.
1) Hypotheses concerning Slope similarity/difference:
I'm using R's anova(lm()) methods to analyse a model which looks
like this:

Gnome-Screensaver Problem
Around last weekend, the updated package,
gnome-screensaver-2.16.1-8.el5_5.1, came in replacing
gnome-screensaver-2.16.1-8.el5. Once our CentOS 5.5 machines are
running the new gnome-screensaver, we start seeing problem in unlocking
the Gnome screensaver with Kerberos authentication. Unlocking the
screensaver with local password works fine. After we back out from the
new version, Kerberos

/apps/gnome-screensaver/lock_enabled true

Centos7 - Mate : screensaver troubles after Freeipa-config
Hello All,
these days one of my tasks is connecting some Centos7 laptops to Freeipa, also running on Centos7.
After doing that, some users report nog being able to unlock their screens.
Only after reboot are they able to login again.
I see this em in /var/log/secure:
Aug 10 13:34:37 **** mate-screensaver-dialog: pam_sss(mate-screensaver:auth): authentication failure; logname= uid=382900663

CentOS 5, gnome-screensaver and password amnesia?
I've built some CentOS 5.5 64-bit systems straight off the DVD, full
installs, and the Gnome screen lock (manually invoked or automatically
via the gnome-screensaver) does not allow the user to unlock the
screen. The only fix appears to be ctrl-alt-F<1 - 5> then have the
user log into the tty session, type pkill -f gnome-screensaver, log
out, then ctrl-alt-f7 to return to X.

screensaver in C7
I'm at the stage of poking at a C7 install in Vbox, and am struggling to
figure out how to control the screensaver. there doesn't seem to be a
gnome screensaver package (like there was in gnome2), and I can't find
any installed packages that control it. gconf-editor doesn't have anything
that looks promising...
how does one control the screensaver in Gnome 3?
thanks!

screensavers in general
Hi,
I tried some windows screensavers with Wine.
Most screensavers start with the configuration screen without a possibility to start the main
screensaver part.
It's the same thing when I rename a screensaver file from 'somewhat.scr' to 'somewhat.exe' and
try to run it with a doubleclick on my Windows 2000 PC. (*.scr: the screensaver starts, *.exe: the configuration screen
