I am currently only playing WoW which I know runs flawlessly in WINE so I decided to swap back over. Everything was working fine and I decided to do a reinstall of Ubuntu going from 10.04 to 10.10, so I did a full format and reinstall. I just run WoW

I am running Ventrilo client 3.0.4 through WINE 1.1.15 (built in wine git to use WoW stability patch). Sound works fine, program starts and I can hear everyone and they can hear me. Then at random intervals Ventrilo either stops working (incoming and outgoing sound no longer happens) or crashes to desktop. Hey folks, Running TeamSpeak while playing WoW, I'm having trouble keeping my microphone going for any length of time. well, as an update, i wiped that hard drive off and replaced it with a larger drive. So I'm now running Ubuntu 10.10. My vid card is an Intel GMA950. Onboard, it sucks, I know. However, this computer WAS playing WoW before I converted it to Ubuntu, so I'm at a loss. Any help would be appreciated. There's NO way I'm going back to Windows, but I haven't played my game now

Ventrilo in version 2.1.4 work properly good under wine. I talk with friend without any problems with sound, but there is one with "Push-to-talk" function (hotkey). When frame with ventrilo have lost focus i can't use this function. I spent a lot of time to googled about it and I found program called xbindkeys. I got idea, that I can use this program to send keystroke to ventrilo.

I installed World of Warcraft and I am able to bring up the Launcher screen. I click play, the launcher disappears as it should but then the login screen never comes up. The Wine window has to force the process to stop in order to exit Wine. I'm Using Ubuntu 10.10 with an ATI graphics card. Any ideas?

Just trying to determine if anyone else using Wine + WoW + RealID friends is experiencing the same problem, so I can determine if it's a router/internet/wow/linux(wine) issue. All my realID friends show location unknown (regular toon friends properly show the location). Also, battle.net looses connection with realid and it takes a wow restart to resolve. Just wanted to let anyone that is wondering about the World of Warcraft Burning Crusade expansion that it all seems to work fine. It installed straight from the disks with no problems and patches worked fine with no work arounds. The text on the large buttons on the install screens is still super small and hard to read, but if you squint and tilt your head you can make out what it says. :)
