360 controller wont work with the force unleashed!!
First of all, yes I do have the controller driver. My xbox 360 controller works fine with every other game I have (at least the ones that support it). For some reason, even if I select xbox 360 controller as the input device at the startup screen for star wars the force unleashed, it won't work. It worked the first time I did it, but now it doesnt. I didnt change anything since the first time

Force Unleashed and Steam won't run
It spent about 5 minutes doing the initial install (updating .NET) and now I get an error:
Code:
The program SWTFU Launcher.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine. You may want to check http://appdb.winehq.org for tips about running this application.

Wine and/or ext4 problem with Force Unleashed 2
All, I've had this issue for months where Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 won't finish downloading. It gets to 9,898.2Mb out of 9,939.6 Mb and simply never finishes.
Now I did a fresh download on a windows box and it finished downloading it (the game plays). I backed the game up and restored it on wine and once again it's missing that last 40mb.
Is this unsolvable due to not knowing

Did you consider using boost::filesystem for Path abstraction? See the
documentation on:

[LLVMdev] lib/System Unleashed - Need Your Help!
Hi Vladimir,
The LLVM source base used to be dependent on boost but we have removed
that dependency because it had a high cost for the relatively small
portions of it that we needed. boost is a general purpose C++ library
that happens to handle filesystem things in a somewhat portable way.
However, lib/System will handle signals, memory mapped files, program
execution, and several other things

Hi Reid,
I downloaded the latest source code and ran configure (I suppose it was that
you did mean). The result is:
---------------
checking build system type... i586-pc-interix3
---------------
Otherwise, please correct me.

[LLVMdev] lib/System Unleashed - Need Your Help!
Folks,
With some MacOS help from Nate, I've begun the conversion of LLVM to use
lib/System, the operating system independence layer. Currently, the
library has implementations for three abstractions: Path, Program, and
Signals. These provide some basic utilities for manipulating file system
paths, finding and executing programs, and cleaning up after Signals.
The implementations should work

Crysis 2 Demo Working
Just a small post to inform you that Crysis 2 MP demo is working with wine 1.3.14.
You can easily install it using PlayOnLinux (Standalone setup and Steam version) or manually install it with vcrun2008 and DirectX Runtime (June 2010) dependancies (only tested standalone).

Bug NOT fixed in wine-1.5.3
Hi,
just a note to alert you, bug #27157 is marked fixed but it's not, only OSSv4 users have sound with brink game, alsa and pulseaudio users don't have sound with this game, tested with vanilla wine-1.5.2 and wine-1.5.3. I test with both "dsound" and "OpenAL" mode for this game, with and without dsound.dll presence in the prefix.
I can't test with coreaudio (OSX

SW : The force unleashed (virtual memory)
Hi there.
I got this game, Star Wars : The force unleashed, installed it, and wanted to play it. Of course.
But when I do "wine SWTFU.exe", it tells me that I have to enable virtual memory, and, of course, dunno how to do that. I searched on the web, but found nothing which really helps me :/
Maybe these lines could help anyone?
Code:
wine SWTFU.exe

Ghost32.exe
Another app I would like to run is Ghost32.exe. This is their "old school" version that looks awfully like Windows 3.1 and is a "self contained app" meaning that on Windows machines I just take the Ghost32.exe to another device and it will launch. No "install" is really ever done.
When trying to launch in wine I get the following errors:
$ wine ghost32.exe

Regarding xlive/GFWL problems
Hi,
I tried to play with Fable 3 bought from steam (but still heavily rely on xlive/GFWL). I managed to launch it using PlayOnLinux testing installer with use :
- Vanilla wine 1.3.23 (I tried with 1.3.25 too)
- Xliveless dll from http://timeslip.users.sourceforge.net/
- Direct launch mode from Fable3.exe thx to xliveless dll (because Fable3Launcher.exe crash with wine)
The game launch, I can

Call limits and VoIP providers
Hi,
I have a few customers hosted on my Asterisk PBX. All incoming calls are
coming from VoIP provider A and all outgoing calls are going to termination
provider B (they happen to be different for now).
On ONE of those customers I'd like to setup a channel limit, meaning they
can have 4 calls max, either outgoing, incoming, or a combinaison of both.
After that, I want it to ring busy.
