Xfire Crashing
I am having some troubles with Xfire (installer number 43094). I am running Ubuntu 10.10. Xfire starts and I can log in, but as soon as I click something, it crashes.
I'm starting with a fresh WINEPREFIX. There is nothing else installed there, and no changes in winecfg. Windows version is set to XP.
First couple trys, running Wine 1.2.2 from the Ubuntu repositories:

Xfire native solution: Gfire
Hello, a long time ago I looked in the appdb about Xfire. It's just generally seen poor support in WINE, and doesn't seem to work that much.
Then one of my friends told me about gfire, the xfire plugin for pidgin:

I just tried this out and it totally works. I don't know the ins and outs of this place, but can you edit/change the xfire page to mention a

Installing wine into a second Direction & using it
Hopefully you don't get annoyed by my newbie-Questions [Rolling Eyes]
I tried to install the wine version 1.3.4 beside the normal installation (1.2.1), so I got the source, and used this code on it:
Code:
./configure --prefix=/home/sereiya/.wine-1.3.4 && make
Then I've installed it with
Code:
sudo make install
With this, I folloed the instructions in the FAQ. But now,

DLL Injection -> segfaults on wine
Hi,
I've started today programming with a windows library which I especially want to use in Wine.
This library replaces one that is for windows native program and I'm trying to create a similar library that communicates with a native linux replacement of the program for windows.
This library needs to be injected into some special processes like the windows one did (it's an SDK,

vertical menus
Hello all,
Not a directly related question to scriptaculous or prototype, but I
am looking for a good, dynamic vertical javascript menu.
I''ve done some searching and there are a lot of menu implementations
out there. I''m looking for something more or less free, but will
pay/donate a small fee towards something worth while.
I figured I''d ask here to help filter down
