Adding support for .w64 (wave64) format
I use Sony (previously Sonic Foundry) Sound Forge, which allows me to save
audio files in .w64 (Wave 64) format to get around the 2GB .wav file
limitation. W64 was invented by Sonic Foundry, and is an open format as far
as I know. The only programs I know about using the .w64 format at the
moment are Sound Forge and Steinberg Nuendo, although there may be others
out there. With increasing

Following is a function that I wrote (It is working well). It's a simple one,
nothing complicated. The only question that I have is a qutation mark issue,
I guess.

Rsync 3.0.3 with patches on OS X 10.4.11 fails to copy ACLs
I am using rsync 3.0.3 to copy a remote RAID volume on one Xserve to the
local RAID volume on an other Xserve. Both Xserves are running OS X Server
10.4.11.
I have compiled rsync 3.0.3 on both machines and patched it following Mike
Bombich's instructions at http://www.bombich.com/mactips/rsync.html
After some struggles, and with invaluable help from the list, I how have an

Check that ACL's are enabled on the destination volume.
Details on how to do this are available from the following URL :

Hope this helps.

Adding support for .w64 (wave64) format
Our DAW REAPER (www.reaper.fm) supports W64 as well. We'd be happy to
share our W64 reading/writing implementations if someone wishes to
integrate them into flac...

Adding support for .w64 (wave64) format
I realize that it isn't much of an improvement, but AIFF supports 4GB
recordings, and flac is compatible with this. Being an avid "taper"
myself, I have, on many occasions recorded up to this limit, and I
always back up my original recordings using flac.
W64 support is more than welcome, but AIFF support gets you twice the
length right away.

www.guitarport.com
Hello,
school is over so I can get back to more serious things like fixing wine bugs.
At some point someone asked for the software from http://www.guitarport.com/ to be fixed. I tried it
today, and it installs and works. I haven't got the hardware it's supposed to work with, but if
anyone is aware of bugs in this software that I can get to without any additional hardware, please
let me

Converting 7905G to SIP
I am trying to convert my 7905G to be SIP based and seem to be running
into a few hassles. Below are all the config files and logs from the
server. I have tried to follow the pdf's from cisco and some posts from
other mailing lists that google turnedup, but it seems that nothing is
working. Am I somehow missing a fundamental step in trying to upgrade
from Call Manager to SIP?
Any help is

Dear R users,
First of all, thanks for the incredibly fast answers and help of Rolf,
Marc and Robert.
Yes, I noticed that it was a lot of permutacions, but my intention was to
make this process automatic and take only 5.000 - 10.000 permutations.
Therefore, I wanted only to take that "interesting permutations" with "some
information" [inter-block permutations].

[RFC 17/20] drm/nouveau/kms/nv50-: Add support for DP_SINK_COUNT
This is another bit that we never implemented for nouveau: dongle
detection. When a "dongle", e.g. an active display adaptor, is hooked up
to the system and causes an HPD to be fired, we don't actually know
whether or not there's anything plugged into the dongle without checking
the sink count. As a result, plugging in a dongle without anything
plugged into it currently results

Yes I used.
The problem can be the version of Asterisk?
I use Asterisk 13 instead of 11.

USB Dongle HASP Driver
Hey guys,
I have an application that requires a USB Key for it to run.
I am running FC5 and have managed to install the application. It runs,
but asks me to check the dongle.
The dongle is a hasp dongle.
I also have parralell versions of this dongle.
Is there anyway I can get this to run, it is really essential in my
roll out of linux machines at work.
I have seen that there are drivers

Hardware donation - 7600 GS (AGP)
Are there any Nouveau developers in Europe (preferably in the UK) who
would like a GeForce 7600 GS? It's the AGP version and is no longer
useful to me. I've got the power dongle (it requires a 350W power
supply) and a S-Video to composite dongle.
Specs:
BFG GeForce 7600 GS OC (AGP)
512MB RAM
DVI + VGA
1 x power dongle (the sort that plug into pata drives)
1 x "HDTV" dongle
