Hamachi annoyances
Hi all,
Got a very frustrating problem here, I've been trying to use hamachi to play a few games over it's virtual lan connection. With all the games in question, be they native or run via wine, they all seem to not be able to pick up on the hamachi network.
My /etc/hosts file has the following entries.

Tinc on 64-bit Vista
Guus,
Just thoguht I'd let you know -- Tinc works fine under 64-bit Vista!
Obtaining a 64-bit signed TAP/TUN driver was a bit of an ordeal. It appears
that the OpenVPN guys have forked out the money to get the TAP-win64 driver
signed for kernel modules.
I installed OpenVPN, then installed Tinc -- no problems whatsoever.
The OpenVPN installer does a check to see if it's running on

MinGW-w64 build of 64-bit R for Windows
A few days ago Gong Yu alerted this list to the possibility of
building a 64-bit R for Windows under a recent MinGW-w64 toolchain,
something we had failed to make work in 2007, 2008 and Feb 2009.
We've now completed the port in the R-devel (SVN trunk) sources and
are able to successfully complete 'make check-all'. An experimental
installer based on this version is available at

How to compile 64-bit Wine 1.3.0 under Mac OS X 10.6.4
Hello,
Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere, if so please let me know where!
I'd like to compile 64-bit Wine 1.3.0 via GCC 4.5.1 (I use GCC 4.5.1 according to the instructions here: http://wiki.winehq.org/Wine64) on my Mac running Mac OS X 10.6.4 with a goal of taking advantage of the 8.0 GB of RAM I've got.
I set CFLAGS="-march=native -m64", CXXFLAGS="-march=native

32-bit Wine on 64-bit Ubuntu 12.04?
Hello!
Installed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64-bit today, then wine, and found out that programs are now installed in directories like Program Files or Program Files (x86).
It seems like I have 64-bit Wine or something?..
Then I want to get a 32-bit ver of Wine on my 64-bit OS.
That may sound stupid, but I think some of my programs stopped working because of this.
When I tried installing WMP9 through

Stereoscopic 3D in Wine?
When you play a "nomal 3D" game, whether it be Halo One or Skyrim, all the data needed to make a truly 3D experience is there, it's just that only one eye's viewpoint is rendered and sent to the screen.
There's this free download called the IZ3D 'driver' which has a free anaglyph mode. (Anaglyph means the two-color method to producing true 3D, in this case red-cyan.)

[LLVMdev] Make install drops 64-bit LLVM in Windows x86 program folder
Hi,
I just did a "make install" on Win7x64 using Mingw64 and it dropped off the
files in "C:\Program Files (x86)\LLVM". That's almost right, but nicer
would be if the 64-bit build was dropped off in "C:\Program Files\LLVM".
I am fairly confident that it is me who is doing something wrong because I
simply do this:

[LLVMdev] Regression Suite Failure: Windows 64-bit Build
Dear Clang and LLVM Developers:
After some time working on this problem over the past week, I’ve been able to isolate the source of a number of failures of the regression suite on Windows. In particular, when using CMake configured on Windows 8.1 using the “Visual Studio 12 2013 Win64” configuration platform and the “native compilers” option, after configuring, generating, and then building on

[LLVMdev] LLVM2.2 x64 JIT trouble on VStudio build
Hello, Chuck

Yes, surely. You can still use 'normal' x86-64 CC if you don't want to
call any external functions from code being JITed. Also note a Win64
fixme in the X86CompilationCallback2 function, this can be your case. I

Dragon Age dlc issues
Hello. I've read through the dragon age wine appdb page, installed all the requisite stuff through winetricks, used a fresh prefix and all that, but my dlc in dragon age is always showing up as unauthorized. I'm pretty sure the dragon age updater service is running, it just can't seem to see my account as being authorized to use the dlc. I have in fact bought a couple of dlc's such

trouble compiling RMySQL (and others) for 64 bit windows.
I have a 64 bit machine running 64 bit windows 7 pro, 64 bit MySQL, and 64
bit R 2.11.1.
I have also installed RTools for 64 bit windows for this version of R
(archive name is oldWin64toolchain.zip; the install path for its contents
is C:\RTools, if that matters). I can open up a commandline window and
invoke any of the programs in both bin directories (both added to the system
path).

Can't install program with today's git in 64-bit version
I downloaded today's git, compiled --enable-win64, and installed.
The command "wine64 notepad" produces notepad, and everything seems fine.
But then I tried installing Dragon NaturallySpeaking, which is a program made for both 32-bit and 64-bit systems.
I go to the DNS11 folder, type "wine64 setup"
and absolutely nothing happens.
Suggestions?
