Wow - Downloader Connection timeout
I've been trying to get WoW working onmy Fedora 14 installation, but I seem to be having problems getting the internet connection to work. I start the game with Code: wine Launcher.exe -opengl in the ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/World of Warcraft directory. I can access the internet from using Code: wine iexplore http://www.google.com so I know the wine network connection works.

Guild Wars 2 hangs on start
Hi, I would appreciate any help with getting Guild Wars 2 to run on Debian Linux (KDE, testing). When I hit the "Play" button on the start screen, the music starts to play but the GW2 window only shows the underlying console window. It just sits there and has to be killed manually. Hello! I've followed the Steam install guide for Wine, but I still can't get Steam to start. It just shows up in the task bar for a couple of seconds, then it disappears and nothing happens. I get these error messages when I launch from console, but they dont't make me much smarter. I'm running Fedora 14 x64 with the standard open source non-Nvidia Nvidia drivers. Code:

Bug#445074: /etc/logcheck/ignore.d.server/ssh: Nasty PTR record
Package: logcheck-database Version: 1.2.62 Severity: wishlist File: /etc/logcheck/ignore.d.server/ssh openssh issues a friendly warning when the remote IP maps back to a hostname that looks just like an IP address. (For example, the address 206.251.174.31 currently maps back to the hostname "206.251.174.31".) Here's a rule that filters out these unimportant messages: ^\w{3} [

NULL ptr dereferences found with Calysto static checker
Hi, I've ran my static checker Calysto on openssh and found the following bug: Possible NULL-ptr deref (vc536): @/work/benchmarks/SOURCES/openssh-4.6p1/moduli.c:173 + ptr gtm returned from gmtime dereferenced without checking (gmtime can return NULL). There are probably more possible NULL-ptr dereferences, but Calysto currently does not check the usage of library functions (for instance, if

Squid3 on CentOS 6.6: IPv6 PTR endianess
Hello, I'm running a Squid cache (Version 3.1.10) on CentOS 6.6 as a forward proxy which is reachable over a global IPv6 address. For whatever reason, Squid tries to perform PTR lookups on the client's IPv6 address. The weird thing is, that Squid seems to struggle with the "endianess" of the IPv6 address blocks. For example: My current client IP is

Samba4 Domain controller - PTR records with/ DNS not being created
Hi, all: This is my setup: Single domain with 2 x Samba 4.1.6 Domain controllers. I created the reverse zones in DNS with Micro$oft's DNS admin tool. Zones are there. However, when a machine is joined to the domain, the forward DNS record is created but the reverse ones are not. I am using samba's internal DNS server. Any on what I need to do? Thanks, E.
