Recurring error
I'm very new to wine and haven't really had much experience with working programs like it in the past so I'm not very good with solving problems that arise in it. However after looking through the faq and scanning the forum a bit I still haven't found a straightforward answer of how to deal with this. I'm running Max os X 10.6.8 and wine seems to have installed and I did run an

Impulse fails to start
So I tried to run Impulse on my Ubuntu 11.04 laptop and it installed fine (or at least seemed to). When I tried to run it I got the working cursor for a bit then nothing. I ran it in terminal and got a error message about running the Windows version of Mono so I went online and did a search for the error message and found a file called mono-2.4.2.3-gtksharp-2.12.9-win32-3.exe and ran it. I have installed AdobeAIR to be native but because it is part of the installer it will keep erroring me. It creates a folder and I've tried running the updater after killing the

Getting League of Legends to work on Ubuntu 10.10 64bit
I have next to zero experience with Unix/Ubuntu/Linux systems. Recently I installed Ubuntu 10.10 64 bit on my machine and I'm trying to make it so that I can run League of Legends on it. I am a complete blank slate when it comes to terminal commands as I know none. I have tried to follow the following two explanations of how to set it up but my limited knowledge of ubuntu and wine are

Screen not changing from 640x480 to 800x600 - "Shogun - Total War"
Wine 9.30 Slackware 11 ATI FireGL 5200 (Propriatory drivers) I found Shogun in a shop as a 'Classic' game and I've been trying to get it to work using Wine. Shogun uses Safedisc and so does not work in it's, ahem, original form. However it can, shall we say, be persuaded to get over it's difficulties and at least run. This is where I am now. I have the game running and
