Quickbooks Pro 2003 installed will not run
This is my first attempt at using wine and crossover. I want to run two
applications Quicken Premier 2003 and Quickbooks Pro 2003. I first tried
installing with just wine, wine-20050524-1fc3winehq.athlon.rpm, and ran
into immediate install failures with Quicken. So I down loaded
crossover's trial version and have installed both applications.
Quicken seems to be completely functional, did see

CodeWeavers apparantly has Quickbooks running (unsupported) under CrossOver
Office 1.2. (Quicken running supported, for what *that* is worth...)

Note: this is all without installing WoW within either wine or crossover , just running it straight from disk
1. I had installed the wine that comes in slackbuilds, 1.1.24
I tried a few programs and for example

How to set up different "bottles" in Wine, just like in Codeweaver's Crossover Office?
Hi all,
How does one set up different "bottles" like in Crossover office?
Meaning how do I isolate an installation of Program A from Program B,
when running under Wine?
is that possible? That's a neat feature they have in Crossover, but I
can't seem to find any documentation of how to do the samething in
generic WINE.

CrossOver Linux Vs. Wine
Sorry to bother, but I can?t understand a lot of your double standards ...
On the one hand develop a proprietary product "CrossOver Linux", but at the same time cooperating with the project "Wine" that's free.
Wine could be today better than CrossOver Linux, but who knows, perhaps you are sabotaging and delaying the Wine project.
I Don?t understand why you don?t develop

Crossover and Free/Wine
Does the non-free versions of wine known as Codeweavers Crossover ever make it
into the free versions? I really can't justify paying for Codeweavers right
now since I only use it every once in a while for one app. But it sure works
a lot nicer than the non-free version.

Help required for Lord of the Rings Online
Hi all,
I would be grateful for any advice on how to get LOTRO working. I'm running the following setup
Linux Mint 9 - 64 bit (AMD 940)
4GB Ram
2GB 4870x2
X-Fi Gamer Extreme
Resolution: 1680x1050
I intially tested LOTRO under crossover which worked but constantly froze and only way out was to ctrl-alt-backspace. I then I to kill the client as it was still running. One minute it would play
