Wondering whether anyone has managed to get NUT working with the Eaton

NUT installation method: sudo apt-get install nut
exact device name: 5E2000iUSB-AU

General Electrics LP-33 UPS, anyone?
Hi,
does anyone know the above mentioned UPS and whether it's supported by
NUT? It has an RS-232 interface, the manual talks about a 'Java
Universal Management Platform' (JUMP) software (which I can't find).
Thanks, Danilo

Salicru UPS - does anyone have experience with these?
I have a possibility of acquiring a 6KVA UPS made the Spanish comapny
Salicru - it's fairly cheap, but weighs about 350kg, so before I go any
further, I'd like to hear if anyone's got any experience with this
make?

I get all the correct info from the UPS and NUT works great and

Powercom issues in NUT (was: PowerCom BNT2000AT ups on nut 2.6.0 - second try)
Dino, Alexey,
there are a number of users suffering issues with your Powercom devices.
Could you (Dino, and Keven if possible) please have a look at the below one,
from Angela, and check for a fix?
I've scheduled to release 2.6.1 next week, and having that fixed is part of
the list.

Wine on Windows 7... Anyone actually tried?
Oi.
So. Now we have a version of windows that actually has legit uses for wine.
Windows 7 can't run horrifyingly outdated 16bit programs(Such as Exile Escape from the Pit) period. Atleast so Ive herd--and tried and seen to seem to be true. Not to mention a multitude of programs that SHOULD run--but just dont like it(Worms Armageddon, for one... though dunno if it works on wine)

Vertiv UPS
Hi,
I didn't see in the HCL any Vertiv support.
The specific unit I'm considering is: (

900W line-Interactive UPS with AVR Technology and Battery Backup, 10
outlets and Three-Year, Full Unit Replacement Warranty (PSA5-1500MT120)"
Has anyone worked with this (or even UPS from Vertiv) and had success (or

Apple iMac OS X 10.13.5 | Powershield Defender 1200 UPS
I got my USB ups reporting on macOS, but it was quite a while ago, I’ll have to dig into how I did it..
I do remember is wasn’t simple.. ( actually is was long drawn out pain in the …. )
Maybe search for posts from me, I’ll check what I did on the weekend and get back to you..
Or, buy an APC.. as they will just appear in Energy Saver..

NUT 2.8.1 (source build) Pi OS bookworm 32 bit - nut-monitor trying to connect to UPS - Connection Refused
I've installed 2.8.1 on a Raspberry PI 5 using Pi OS bookworm 64 bit (Debian 12) with success.
When I take that same configuration to a PI 3B running bookworm 32 bit, compile from source, use the same files from /etc/nut, I get a 'nut-monitor ups at localhost Connection refused.
usbhid-ups and dummy-ups are running at the time.
What should I be looking for?

Multi UPS Monitoring
Hey all,
I've read through as many relevant mailing list posts and public blog posts
as I could, but I can't seem to find an answer to my issue.
I currently have 2x Tripp Lite SMART1500LCDXLs, and I am attempting to
monitor both of them with the same Raspberry Pi using NUT. The problem I
have is there doesn't seem to be any way in the nut.conf to
differentiate between the two UPS via

PES2012 recently stopped working
I've recently updated wine version from 1.3.29 to 1.3.33 and I realised that PES2012 stopped working. It just opens a MessageBox with the text "The dynamic library rld.dll failed to initialize (E300)" and closes, without any error message on the terminal window.
I started downgrading the version of wine to check when the error started, and I can confirm that the problem started on

Anyone running EasyGPS or ExpertGPS?
With wine-1.1.14-1 under Fedora 10, EasyGPS launches, finds, and
correctly identifies my Garmin GPS (something Garmin's own software under
wine still can't do); and it tries to copy my waypoints. It even claims
success; but then it gives endless pop-ups (277 of them, at a guess --
the number of waypoints it says I have). By the time you close all those,
it crashes; and on re-launch,
