Oi. So. Now we have a version of windows that actually has legit uses for wine. Windows 7 can't run horrifyingly outdated 16bit programs(Such as Exile Escape from the Pit) period. Atleast so Ive herd--and tried and seen to seem to be true. Not to mention a multitude of programs that SHOULD run--but just dont like it(Worms Armageddon, for one... though dunno if it works on wine) Also.

I got my USB ups reporting on macOS, but it was quite a while ago, I’ll have to dig into how I did it.. I do remember is wasn’t simple.. I've installed 2.8.1 on a Raspberry PI 5 using Pi OS bookworm 64 bit (Debian 12) with success. When I take that same configuration to a PI 3B running bookworm 32 bit, compile from source, use the same files from /etc/nut, I get a 'nut-monitor ups at localhost Connection refused. usbhid-ups and dummy-ups are running at the time.
