Hello, I've installed SketchUp 7 on Wine 1.1.20 in Ubuntu 9.04. When I start SketchUp, I get a dialog that seems to come from IE, asking me to save a file index.html that is from somewhere under c:/Program Files/Google/Google SketchUp 7/Resources/ (I can't see the full path). [Replying to a post from September...] The "cannot initialize opengl" is bug http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14045 The workaround is to set a registry key to tell sketchup your graphics card is ok. So, you have Intel graphics? Which chipset? I hear the 915 isn't good enough for sketchup, but the 945 might be, though you may have to disable DRI. See http://wiki.winehq.org/GoogleSketchup for more info, look at the links section at the bottom.
