Thanks in advance for your help, Carlo Giovanni Camarda # creating data a1 <- sort(runif(10)) a2 <- sort(runif(10)) a3 <-

Plotting symbols and colors based upon data values
I am new to R and am sure this is simple, but I been unable to find a solution. I have 5 columns of data labeled "X", "Y", "A","B","C". I can easily xyplot(Y ~ X | A) but I want the colors of the symbols to be based upon the values of B and the shape of the symbols to be determined by C. There are approximately four distinct values of B and C

Write vector/matrix in a loop
Hello! I'm trying to *save values* (*row and col*) in two matrices(1,m) or vectors. I have a loop, where a get these values: for(i in 144){ for(j in 73){ if(B4[i,j]==1){ # B4 is a matrix(73, 144) row <- B4[i-(i-1),j] col <- B4[i,j-(j-1)] } } } *How to save row and col?* Thank you! -- View this message in context:

gfid entries in volume heal info that do not heal
Hey Matt, >From the xattr output, it looks like the files are not present on the arbiter brick & needs healing. But on the parent it does not have the pending markers set for those entries. The workaround for this is you need to do a lookup on the file which needs heal from the mount, so it will create the entry on the arbiter brick and then run the volume heal to do the healing. Follow

How to name matrices from a list with lapply ?
Dear list, I have a list of matrices : i1 <- matrix(1:10, nrow = 2, ncol = 5) i2 <- matrix(11:20, nrow = 2, ncol = 5) j <- list(i1 = i1, i2 = i2) I would like to attribute names to each dimension, for each matrix, as follows : $i1 B1 B2 B3 B4 B5 A1 1 3 5 7 9 A2 2 4 6 8 10 $i2 B1 B2 B3 B4 B5 A1 11 13 15 17 19 A2 12 14 16 18 20 However, I have to use lapply function and attribute

gfid entries in volume heal info that do not heal
Hi Jim & Matt, Can you also check for the link count in the stat output of those hardlink entries in the .glusterfs folder on the bricks. If the link count is 1 on all the bricks for those entries, then they are orphaned entries and you can delete those hardlinks. To be on the safer side have a backup before deleting any of the entries. Regards, Karthik On Fri, Oct 20, 2017 at 3:18 AM, Jim

finding birth position
Hi All, I have data on the sequence of births for families with completed fertility cycle (in a data frame); the relevant variables are called b1, b2, b3, b4, b5, b6 and record the birth of the first, second, ..., sixth child. So, b1=1 if the first birth is male, b1=2 if the first birth is female, and b1=NA if the family did not record any first birth. Similarly for b2, b3, b4, b5 and b6. I

edit.row.names taking row names from the edited dataframe
Hi all, I am struggling to work out how to use the rownames from an edited dataframe rather than the row names from the original dataframe. In my data set i'm trying to extract several rows of data on particular individuals, i don't doubt i'm using the long way round but what i have in the way of a script is this: ##selecting the IDs from the dataframe individually
