9800m GT
Hi Everyone! I've been trying to get my Nvidia 9800m GT working with the latest nouveau drivers with no luck so far. First of all I'd like to mention that this is a weird card as it is an SLI in one piece of hardware (not 2 separated cards). It came with my Dell XPS M1730 laptop. I know SLI is not currently supported and _I don't want_ to use SLI, I just would like to use one of

Sims 3 Color & Graphics Issues
I've been trying to install The Sims 3 for the last couple of days, and it hasn't been opening. Now that I've finally figured out what i've been doing wrong there's still a major problem. I've installed using playonlinux, and when i open (I use the launcher made by playonlinux, not the actual sims 3 launcher)The screen might turn white, but it always turns black before the

err:wgl:internal_SetPixelFormat Invalid iPixelFormat:
Hi, I tried to run "Anno 1503 Kings Edition", but I'm quite sure which program doesn't matter. Starting the game, nothing happens besides a change of my display resolution, the game prints an error, and exits as soon as I press ALT+F4. The complete error message given by wine follows at the end, for it is quite long. What I think is the essential part is the topic's headline.

GeForce 6100 (NV4E) & nouveau regression in 3.12
Hi guys, Last week I've switched from my old & good 3.4.63 to 3.14-rc1 and noticed nasty display corruptions when using nouveau. It seems that changing parts of the screen are appearing for a fraction of second in random places. I've recorded this behavior: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEq7JzGVzj0 My hardware is some old motherboard with 00:05.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]:

Steam Apps freezing
I'm using wine to run Steam based games like Counterstrike and Day of Defeat. This generally works well but from time to time the games radomly freeze(about every hour or so). To get further information I made an error.log(see below) and googled the error. I found quite some information but no way to solve the problem. Any ideas, assumptions...? ##Information on the system## Linux

Bug#721946: xen-hypervisor-4.1-amd64: dom0_mem cannot exceed some value
Package: xen-hypervisor-4.1-amd64 Version: 4.1.4-3+deb7u1 Severity: normal I tried GRUB_CMDLINE_XEN="dom0_mem=8192M": that delivers 6964868K total, then crashes when used=2837436K free=4127432K. By crash I mean the gnome screen was blown away, replaced by a black screen with white log lines. That seems to happen every time dom0 uses a large amount of memory. After setting

NIC PCI-Passthrough problems (PV domU driver crashes)
Hi, I have been trying to get NIC PCI Passthrough to work on Xen 4.3.0 and have hit a wall. On attaching the NIC the domU network driver (igb) crashes. I followed the Xen PCI Passthrough wiki http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Xen_PCI_Passthrough and am using dynamic device assignment with xl. Bug#797205: xen-hypervisor-4.4-amd64: Xen live migration dom0 memory swap
Package: xen-hypervisor-4.4-amd64 Version: 4.4.1-9+deb8u1 Severity: important I already posted this on the xen-devel-mailinglist but no one seems to have an answer. I'm posting it here because perhaps someone using Debian and Virtualization might have an idea about this? Since Debian 8 I observe that live migrating a PVM on XEN 4.4.1 (also 4.5.1) and Linux Kernel 4.1.0 (also 3.18) requires
