[1.3.20]-Capture The Mouse Works Great. Suggestions... Hi, I've been crying for a long time about mouse issues while running a full screen game in an emulated desktop window, but with newest Wine these issues are gone. Would it be possible to have some hot key that the user can press to uncapture the mouse? For example, VirtualBox toggles mouse capture by pressing the right [Ctrl] key on

GLM coefficients
Dear all, After running a glm, I use the summary ( ) function to extract its coefficients and related statistics for further use. Unfortunately, the screen only displays a small (last) part of the results. I tried to overcome the problem by creating/saving an object "coef" for coefficients of the model and export/save it e.g. as a cvs document. While I succed with this operatiion, I do

stepwise variable selection method wanted
Hi List, I am looking for a variable selection procedure with a forward-backward selection method. Firstly, it is meant to work with the cophenetic correlation coefficient (CPCC) and intended to find the variable combination with the highest cophenetic correlation. Secondly, it is aimed at Gower metric with wards method (though this could be easily extended) aimed at categorical data. What I

Help! How to mix win32 and native os calls in code?
Hi I have a tool that I am running under Mac version of Wine. What I am doing is installing the tool under wine (i.e wine <path to installer pkg.exe>) and then running it from wine. It uses an api to capture current screen (BitBlt api). Under Mac, it is capturing the X windows frame buffer instead of native Quartz frame buffer. I have source code for this tool. I am thinking of

Crash shortly after importing pool
Looks like my main data pool is borked. I''ve got one essentially current backup, and one older backup, plus the photos are mostly backed up on archival optical disks, so this isn''t as disastrous as it might be, but still, recovering several hundred gigabytes on home equipment is a pain. Hence I''d prefer to recover the pool if that''s reasonably possible. When

Screen capture
The nice folks over on the Win32Utils group were kind enough to write some code to do screen captures for us. Watir can now take a copy of the screen ( or active window) and save it to a jpg or a bmp file Usage: # this method saves the current window or whole screen as either a bitmap or a jpeg # It uses paint to save the file, so will barf if a duplicate filename is selected, or the path

zpool iostat output gets buffered
I''m trying to write a SLAMD (http://www.slamd.com/) resource monitor that can be used to measure the I/O throughput on a ZFS pool, and in particular to be able to get the read and write rates. In order to do this, I''m basically executing "zpool iostat {interval}" and parsing the output to capture the values in the "bandwidth read" and "bandwidth
