wine advantages over mingw
What are the advantages of using winegcc over the mingw cross compiler?
Also, what are the differences in the header files / libs supplied with each ?
I have an app (http://www.autohotkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46546) cross compiling with mingw using codeblocks, and I have it working under winelib side by side native linux code.
I wanted to translate it so it would compile with winegcc so

build wine dll problem
I am trying to follow the instructions here (http://www.winehq.org/docs/winelib-guide/bindlls-wrapper) to build a dll with wine that i can load dynamically in a windows wine application.
this is what i am doing:

One unfortunate side affect is you also cannot edit the title.
For example, I wanted to mark a question i posted, as solved...

Cant use deadkeys in Portuguese keyboard
Hi,
ive been trying wine and i love it , i have ubunty hardy with all the updates and wine 1.1.0 and i can run most applications i need in wine.
although i have a problem , the keyboard layout is correct but deadkeys dont work.
In ubuntu they keyboard is set to Portuguese and deadkeys work fine in all applications but in wine instead of ????? i have 'a 'e 'o ~a ~o... etc

Wine 20050725 - Keyboard input not being recognised in 3d - mystery

Running the latest version of wine, I have come across a problem that seems
simple but I can't find a fix to it! As a more in-depth look at the problem
