Hi dere, I switched over from Windows to Linux and I'm loving it. I do have a few problems with Gmod. 1. It won't work. I downloaded Wine after I downloaded Gmod, would that mess it up? Do I have to redownload it? 2. I also downloaded it from Steam, does that affect it? kthnx :D

Lots of 3D games such as Team Fortress 2, Audiosurf or Stalker have very low performance in comparison to running on the same computer on Windows. What can I do to improve it? What developers have still to implement to fully support 3D rendering?

Hi all, I took the CVS from WineX (as mentioned on the transgaming.com Website). I downloaded fine and compiled fine. But: I have only a wine exec, but no winex. In the tools subfolder, there is a winex. But when I run it it just states, that some dir´s are missing (/usr/lib/transgaming and so on). The exec winex is only a script, no bin. hey, when i run Counter-Strike : Source from steam using wine, it runs like it normally would on windows, then when it starts up, it shows me the css background, like when its loading the menu, then the screen goes black and the pointer (mouse) flickers.. any ideas?

Hi, i updated recently to Ubuntu 9.04, first none of source games worked because of Pulseaudio, well i just got rid of that. Now CSS and others work like they did before (even faster in 9.04) but Garry's mod just crashes when joining.
