Wine menu dont show in application menu
Wine was on my Ubuntu 9.04 and I uninstalled. As the icons were not deleted from the Applications menu, I manually delete them. The problem comes now: I've reinstalled Wine, and now that I dont see icon of Wine in the Applications menu. Then I went to the menu editor and I have to Revert button, but nothing ... Wine is "fine" because I've installed some applications on it. I

Wine Menu Folders
When I had 0.9.55 I had a seperate Wine menu folder under my Applications menu. Now that I've installed 0.9.56 it's no longer there. Is it specific to each DEB? Or did I install something that I can't figure out now that created those menu folders. I really liked it there.

Wine menu items?
Had a previous problem with a program not installing, in Wine, correctly, so I uninstalled Wine, but had to manually delete the Wine menu items in the Gnome 'Applications' menu list. After reinstalling Wine, the menu items did not install again. I can manually add the items to the Gnome 'Applications' menu, but do not know what the true names of the Wine applications that are

Wine Menu won't show!
Hello everyone. I started using Ubuntu 9.10 approximately a month ago, and decided to install Wine (using the apt-get command). Time later, I upgraded to the 1.1.31 release, and it used to work flawlessly, until today. I decided to uninstall and reinstall Wine in order to fix the problem (I had to delete the Wine folder manually from my GNOME menu), but after reinstalling, the Wine submenu

Wine and Gnome menus...
Hi all, I've spent several days tinkering with Wine and have uncovered what seems to be a mess: Menus in Gnome for Wine applications... I'm running Debian 4.0 (Etch) with a few backports, and Gnome 2.14.3. I've progressed from the version of Wine that's in the Etch repositories, 0.9.25-2.1, through the one in backports, 1.0-rc1-1, to the current 1.1.1 from the WineHQ

Kununtu Menu Problem With Wine
Very new to Linux so please be gentle. Running Kubuntu 8.04 (Gutsy). Installed Wine and a couple of Windows apps. Couldn't get them to work so uninstalled apps (through Wine) then uninstalled Wine. Found that the Wine entries were still visible in the K Menu so I deleted them (not sure how). I think I found them somewhere using the file manager (Dolphin) and deleted them there. Now I have

Wine menu in Windows application
Hi! Here something I noticed: When using the application, most of the menu points are missing (this means I can save using the icon, the corresponding menu item is missing, the menu item "back" is missing although CTRL +Z (on a German keyboard) is working). Now, Wine's menu is being added see screenshot. The screenshot had been taken on Crossover but since it definitely comes from

Wine Re-Installation Issues: No menus or .wine being created
I recently had to remove wine after it became cluttered with software that would not uninstall fully (no matter what I did) and series of other issues. When I removed wine ("yum remove wine") I decided to wait for my repositories to get the .58 update. In the meantime I backed up what I wanted and deleted the .wine folder and menu entries in gnome by hand. Today I installed wine again

GNOME menu entries for wine run games
I have been trying to add a launcher to the gnome menu for some of my wine games, but I have found that when I add them to the menu the games complain about missing files, I assume because it is looking for the rest of the game files in the directory that the launcher is in. This doesn't happen when I run the same command within the games directory they work fine. I used to have this problem

Ugly menu/dialog font of applications, using debian sarge and wine 0.9.8 and 0.9.22
hello, I have a problem with an unsuitable font in the windows menus/dialogs with the above versions of wine (dont think this depends much on the versions, though. Have not tried other versions so far.) when using debian sarge. The font seems to look a bit ugly, usually destroys partly the menu/dialog structures, and, most important, has no German umlaut's (the diphtongs ae, oe, ue and

Problem upgrading from 0.9.46-0
I'm using Ubuntu 7.10. The laptop I use won't support 8.04 so please don't ask. Synaptic Package manager only lists 0.9.46-0 so I installed it from there. The install worked fine. Wine becomes it's own item on the main application menu, Programs installed show below it.That's all fine. But, I ran into some windows apps that would not install (Paint Shop Pro from the ESD file
