Problem building libFLAC on Windows x64
Hello everyone. Due to problems with libsndfile's handling of FLAC files, Mixxx is going to use libFLAC directly in v1.9.0. I'm the Windows packager and am trying to build libFLAC on Windows x64 using MSVC 2008 and the following steps that I've put together: http://mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php/build_windows_dependencies#libflac The problems I have are the following: If I try to build the

hostname resolution in libshout
We (Mixxx) have a user who reported an issue with hostname resolution. Here's the bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/+bug/1391654 They say their hostname resolves to both ipv4 and ipv6 and they bound icecast to the ipv4 interfaces. (I'm not sure why they don't bind to both). Mixxx cannot connect to icecast presumably because libshout is resolving and connecting to the ipv6

Git branch with compiling fixes for win32
Not sure if the patches you already have address this, but here are some hacks I collected to try to get libFLAC to build on Windows for Mixxx: http://mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php/build_windows_dependencies#libflac I have never actually gotten it to build on x64 and right now just use OpenCodecs' distribution (also mentioned at that link) which has Visual Studio files that build fine for me.

[ foobar2000 ] Right-click on tabs does not work
I use foobar2000 under wine 1.3.21 (Ubuntu 11.04 64bit). Since my last wine update (from 1.3.19 to 1.3.21), i cannot access playlist tab context menu using right click. The right-click works fine with all clickable zones but tabs. I tried with a fresh new WINEPREFIX and a fresh install of foobar2000 and the problem stand still. I made no change at all to foobar2000 config. Does anyone have

[GSoC 2018] Improving debugging of optimized code
Hello, I'm an undergraduate student in the CS department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). Last year I successfully completed GSoC with Mixxx [1] and this year I would like to work on LLVM. I am interested in "Improving debugging of optimized code" [2]. I have gone through the kaleidoscope tutorial and I've set up a basic dev environment for LLVM and clang.

serving speex without a server
On my personal web pages hosted by my ISP I have a collection of speex files with names ending, as usual, in '.spx'. My ISP does not provide for scripting or CGI but thanks to the "Home-Brew Streaming" idea of Dr Tak Auyeng, www.drtak.org/teaches/ARC/speex/, my friends with Windows XP can listen to such a recording without the need for a prior download of the whole file and
