call drops after a few seconds
I have setup my asterisk box using freepbx. I can call extension and make outbound calls. the outbound calls drop between 10-30sec. we are using bandwidth.com and they have logged our call. below is your bad followed by what they say is a good call. I can't figure out where the problem is on your end. I know we are missing some stuff at the bottom but I don't know where to start.

CyberPower OR2200
i own a CyberPower OR2200LCDRM2U and was wondering if any nut drivers
support this ups. none i have tried have worked although usbhid-ups did
tell me that the productid=0601 was not supported yet. i see in the
compatability list on the nut website that the PR2200 is supported with
the powerpanel driver but the OR2200 is not listed. i am interested in
what i am doing wrong or if this is a support

Attack on Pearl Harbor will not run
First time to post here and not very familiar with wine. My grandson downloaded the demo for Attack on Pearl Harbor and after download finished I upgraded to the latest wine1.3. I right clicked on the desktop icon, went to permissions and marked for executable. When I left click on desktop icon the screen resolution drops from 1600x900 to 1200x768 and the screen goes white with occasional black

metafor random effects meta-analysis
Hello,
Great to see the new metafor package for meta-analysis.
I would like to perform a meta-analysis in which I initially calculate the intercept of the model with a nested random-effects structure. In lme, this would be
model<- lme(v3~1, random=~1|species/study, weights = varFixed(~Wt), method = "REML")
where multiple effects sizes are measured for some studies and more than

Help requested for Aeris Dive Computer interface
Hi,
I'm attempting to run the Aeris Dive Computer interface (ACI V2.x) using WINE under Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jakalope release on an ASUS 1000HE netbook.
However, it doesn't seem to be working very well.
the install process seemed to work fine. It successfully created an icon under the WINE application for the interface.
On startup of ACI, it says that it cannot read the previous dive

Rsync from NT to UNIX
You're set, unless you declined ssh in your cygwin installation (without
cygwin, you're not doing rsync from windoze). It's just like unix, in
that case. (Bonus clue: Under related commands for ssh, you'll find
ssh-keygen).
If you don't actually need to secure your content (you're not naked on the
internet, for instance), you can just let rsync use plain old rsh

Size of observations
Hi All
I had to assure the randomness of backgammon game's two dices.
I took 8,000,000 observations and found that one of the dices is not uniform
distributed.
I took 80,000,000 observations and found that the dice is uniform
distributed.
In both tests I used Pearson Chi Square test.
My questions:
1. How many observations should I take?
2. How much the 80,000,000

Icecast & DB storage
Hi Thomas,
It's a crazy idea if you are storing a few gig's, raid 5 would do, but
we could be storing TBytes of audio and video, then using raid's or
san's becomes more of a problem. That's why we are looking into using
the cluster management of Oracle, but pull the audio data out and stream
using Icecast instead of using intermedia.
This solution abstracts us from the

Hello,
I have a problem with ssh client.

what/why ogg-flac ?
Hello again all,
I am confused by the ogg option in flac.
Why has this feature been added? what does it allow you to do?
Is it easier to tag or stream or something ?
Can someone give me a practical example of where you might want to have
ogg-flac files rather than plain flac?
Thanks,
Dave

Cross Platform audio library
Hello all,
I am currently using libao for audio output in my FLAC project. I am
using linux, but I would like the program to be portable to windows.
I am having no luck finding information about audio output API's that
are cross platform compatable. libao is designed to be, but does anyone
know it it ACTUALLY works under windows? I cant seem to find out!
Failing that, are there any other

Icecast & DB storage
Yay! I went to Glasgow uni many years ago!
Anyway...
This sounds supisciously close to what I developed for
myplay.com - for efficiency purposes we used oracle
for data indexing and more traditional filesystem for
data storage. Never mind the fact that it's
financially uneconomical.

Can't load native dll
When I try to load winelib dll I get an error message:
"err:module:MODULE_LoadLibraryExA Loading of native
DLL <dllname> failed (error 193), check this file."
The error message is printed for call:
DllHandle = LoadLibrary(DllName);
This happens even when I try to load standard Wine
dlls, like dlls/msisys.ocx.so
Did I miss something obvious?
Thanks,

Changing the colour in boxplots using bwplot()
I've managed to find how to change
trellis.settings$box.rectangle$col
and
trellis.settings$box.umbrella$col
but I can't figure out how to change the colour of the point used
to indicate outliers. There doesn't seem to be a general colour.
What am I overlooking?
best

lattice x(y)lab and expression
Another question about lattice:
Is there a way to use plotmath in the labels and strips?
E.g.
xyplot(y~x|group,data=test.df,
panel=function(x,y,subscripts,df) {
llines(x,y,col="black",lwd=2)
llines(x,df[subscripts,"lowerCI"],lty=2,col="#aaaaaa")
llines(x,df[subscripts,"upperCI"],lty=2,col="#aaaaaa")
},

Writing text in lattice graphics
I'm trying to obtain a set of regression lines obtained for different values
of a factor using lattice. I would like to add a string to each panel showing
the R^2 value of the respective line, but I'm having difficulties positioning
the text (namely on which coordinates to give to the "ltext" function).
Here is what I'm using (I've used ?? for the things I would like

Burn Out
I think that the time has come for me to back off a bit from my
involvement with Shorewall. I just don''t have enough cycles (or energy) to
keep up the pace of the last several months. As a consequence, I''m going
to do the following:
1. I''m going to stop personally supporting the entry level tools (samples
and quick start guide).
These tools are a source of constant
