usb 3
I am trying to plug a USB 2 device in a USB 3 slot. Nothing is being
detected
in "lsusb". Is there something special I need to do? I am running centos
5.5 x86_64.
I thought 3.0 was backward compatible. Nothing special about my device
its an RS232 to USB device.
It works in 2.0 slot.
Thanks,

[LLVMdev] memory-to-memory instructions
It appears impossible to match memory-to-memory instructions (except for MOV).
The MSP430 supports these. The following test case tries to match the
pattern that generates "add.w &foo,&bar":
; RUN: llvm-as < %s | llc -march=msp430 -O3
target datalayout = "e-p:16:8:8-i8:8:8-i16:8:8-i32:8:8"
target triple = "msp430-generic-generic"
@foo = common global

help needed with printing multiple arguments as vectors, not matrices
**
I am using the following way to get p-values from fiser exact test.
However, I do need to print for each pair the values "n00, n01, n10, n11".
How can I print that as a table and not a matrix as below along with the
p-value? Any help will be greatly appreciated
fish <- function(y, x) {n00 = sum((1-x)*(1-y)); n01 = sum((1-x)*y);
n10 = sum(x*(1-y)); n11 = sum(x*y); a =

How to display each symbol in a different color using plot with summary.formula.reverse
Dear R Masters,
I have searched high and low (the help archives and my various R reference material and help files) for a solution to what appears to me to be quite a simple problem. In the following syntax, variable n10 has three levels. I would like the symbols that appear in the graph for these three levels to be different colors. The best I have been able to do is to have the Key display

Application crashes when File->open is clicked
Hello,
I found a bug in Latest wine releases. I found it in the
wine-20040914,wine-20040813 rpms for the RedHat Distributions.I had
tested it in RedHat-9.0,7.3 systems.
The bug is that, when we try to open(file->open) from any windows
applications, the application hangs. For eg., even in Notepad, when I
click File-> Open, wine shows the following error.

Sharp ZQ-290s sync software
Hi,
Since Sharps communication protocols are "top secret", I'm trying to
port their sync software to linux.
I'm new to wine, so this might be silly, but after hours of googling and
searching for solutions I'm posting this.
After installing DCOM98.exe, the Desktop software installed, and it
runs. Only problem is it doesn't detect the device connected to the
serial port

'Setup cannot find necessary files' message
Running Wine 1.0.1 in Ubuntu 9.10, trying to install FileMaker Pro 9 from CD. (Install from this CD works fine on Windows machine.)
'Setup cannot find necessary files' message appears when launching setup.exe with Wine.
WINEDEBUG=+loaddll on setup.exe gives the output below; looks like all needed .dlls are there.
Same problem reported on Ubuntu forums earlier in 2009 by another user:

NMDS plot and Adonis (PerMANOVA) of community composition with presence absence and relative intensity
Hi!
Thanks for providing great help in R-related statistics. Now, however I'm
stuck. I'm not a statistics person but I was recommended to use R to perform
a nmds plot and PerMANOVA of my dataset.
Sample(treatment) in the columns and species (OTU) in the rows. I have 4
treatments (Ambient Temperature, Ambient temperature+Low pH, High
temperature, High temperature+low pH), and I have 16

Warcraft III can't find cdrom
Hi,
After setting the windows version to winxp I managed to install this
game without a problem. Playing however is another matter. It appears it
can't find the CDrom.
I'm using the deb-packages from winehq (version 20050111) in a sid
chroot on an AMD64 pure64 install with kernel 2.6.8 (Debian package
2.6.8-10). I copied the config file from the sample in the documentation

clang-format sets executable permission on windows (openNativeFile ignores mode on Windows)
Hi,
I'm having an issue where clang-format is setting the executable bit on all source files it modifies when using the -i parameter. I spent some time troubleshooting this issue today, and I found that clang-format create a new temporary file, writes the formatted source into that file, then copies it over the old file. Deep in the bowels of openNativeFile in

Serial Communication
I try to use SimoComU, a tool to control frequency converters, on Wine.
Since version 2004-07-16 it opens its main window, and most functions
seem to work. Anyway, it does not communicate over the serial line. I
see the following output:
