Applciation cannot open a file
I'm running 3.0.28a on RHEL 4 U4.
The problem I see is tied between an application running on winxp (Altiris Image Browser) and the samba server. The application says it is unable to open specific files.
I've tried some things to resolve this. I set force user = root for the share in question. This should have fixed it, but it did not. I set chmod to o+rwx per file.
I do not see this

memory leak?
Hi list,
I'm configuring microsoft doc|ppt|xls viewers to run under KDE. After a
bit of hassle even printig works ok :) Great work, guys.
I noticed while running xlview.exe that wine proccess grows about 3mb in
size each 5 seconds. Running with --debugmsg warn+all shows lots of
'warn:heap:HEAP_Is_Real_Arena Heap 0x40ef0000: block 0x300476d2 is not

Cannot open .exe files using Terminal
I downloaded Darwine stable 1.0.1 and installed it. I went to /Applications/Darwine/Wine.bundle/Contents/bin and double-clicked on "wine" Then I went to Terminal and went to the directory for GTA2. I typed "GTA2.exe." The process installed GTA2. I went to /Users/brianlee/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Rockstar Games/GTA2 in Finder and double-clicked on GTA2.exe and only a weird

libmsi.a import library from wine, and header files available (entirely free software), available for python-win32 builds under msys+wine
as part of building python2.5.2 under msys under wine on linux using
mingw, i thought i'd try building _msi.pyd just for kicks. of course,
that required having an msi.lib import library, and associated header
files. so, purely as an experiment, i've documented the process by
which it is possible to take wine 1.1.13 (current development release)
source code, modify the header files for

missing sh.exe file when running "R CMD INSTALL test"
I am trying to learn how to make a simple package that contains no C
or Fortran code. I used package.skeleton(...) to make a package
called "test". The directory and files look good. I downloaded and
installed Rtools (www.murdoch-sutherland.com/Rtools/tools.zip). I
added the path and from the dos prompt I can verify that make.exe and

Open file error....samba 3.0.28a
When I try to open a specific file from a samba share (LSP), the application (on WINXP) says that it could not open the file.
The errors pasted below (from the smb client) show something different from anything I've seen before. Usually these kinds of problems are straight forward. In other words, usually this is a permission issue. In this case, it is not.
