Panzer General 2 - Railroad Tycoon 2
My apologies for being a total Wine NOOB. I've been trying to get anything to work on Wine (with little success). Panzer General II is supposed to be rated as Gold. I can get it to load fine. It starts, and I can even get to the start of a scenario/campaign. The main problem is it doesn't load the maps or anything into the map area. I ran winedbg and got this:

Mouse Cursor not visible in winecfg (Ubuntu 8.04 wine-0.9.60
I installed the latest binary last evening, and I am unable to see my cursor in any applications, most notibly winecfg. I have removed/reinstalled wine, removed my .wine directory to see that they are created. I also have played with my xorg.conf and enabled/disabled hwcursor and swcursor. I haven't gotten the mouse to be visible with anything I have tried. It should be noted that my xorg

Bug with evdev corepointers
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello everybody, Those who are active in #Xgl on freenode know that I've had segfaults when starting Xgl during the last few weeks (which is also why there was no progress on my g-w-d rewrite). Today I found the time to debug Xgl and to find the bug. My mouse was configured as evdev device in xorg.conf, and to use it, it was set as the

Starcraft + wine 1.1.1 @ FreeBSD 7.0
Hello, I try to run StarCraft on FreeBSD 7.0 using wine 1.1.1. The game hangs while I'm running it (I can see loading and image with 3 characters). Also StarEdit is very slow, however it doesn't hang. I installed Stronghold Crousader on FreeBSD using wine and it seems to work fine. I installed some linux games (unreal tournament 2004, unreal tournament, tuxracer) and I suppose that DRI

Apps segfaulting, problem with X?
Hello, I'm having big trouble getting wine to work. What I basically want to do is get steam to work, now it even fails to launch at all. It updates to 99% and then it segfaults. Other games has done this too (rollercoaster tycoon 2, starcraft 2). I followed the instructions on winehq, removed oriya/samyak fonts and I don't think I've done anything wrong - I've installed steam

Mouse cursor rotated on all screens when rotating a single screen.
I have two monitors, one landscape and the other portrait. When I rotate the portrait monitor using xrandr (or the xorg.conf option) the mouse cursor on the landscape monitor is also rotated and the "click point" is no longer below the cursor (this makes the mouse practically unusable). The cursor is correct on the rotated monitor. Setting NoAccel "False" and HWCursor

Screen Flicker
I am new to wine and I am trying to play Jedi Knight 2 version 1.04. I have installed it fine, but when I try to play it, the screen is constantly flickering. This does not happen with some of my other games. I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope and the latest version of wine. Is there something I can do to diagnose or fix this problem? I'm using the default drivers. I have an HP

Guild Wars Won't Even Get to Login Screen
Hello, I have been having a very hard time with Guild Wars under Wine, despite it's platinum rating. I have not been able to get to the login screen on any linux distribution I've tried. (Fedora, arch, even ubuntu). It loads the game files on the ArenaNet loading screen, but soon experiences an unrecoverable graphics error. X11 build
Morning... I have a package that I think wants to compile against the X11 source tree. http://openchrome.org - its a snapshot from there.... Anyway the command it tells me to run is: xmkmf /usr/src/xc make make install This is to build a updated X graphics driver... However when I do this I get errors as there is not /usr/src/xc (no surprise) I did then "up2date xorg-x11-sdk"
